Occam's Razor seems to suggest that the most simplistic explanation is
most likely to be the truth... How could this possibly be the case
given that most of us are drowning in simplistic explanations that
are, in fact, not the truth? The key seems to be that I'm neither
intrigued by Occam's Razor nor do I have contempt for it. What is the
impetus behind Occam's Razor?... I think I know the answer to that.
Homosexuals would just love for everyone who is insensitive to
homosexuality to offer a simplistic reason for being in opposition to
homosexuality. ' 'Cuz The Bible says so' is the reason homosexuals
want us all to use... IT'S A RULE!! We're not allowed to be less
simplistic than homosexuals want us to be. A homosexual posted
recently that his reason for being a homosexual is to achieve an
orgasm... Occam's Razor says that as simplistic as that sounds, it
must be the truth... The implications of that being the truth are that
the incentive for achieving an orgasm... is achieving an orgasm...
IOW, achieving an orgasm instills rule follower pride in homosexuals
and that is the incentive... Well, ya know, in heterosexuals, the
incentive for achieving an orgasm is post-coitus euphoria and so that
must be the differance according to Occam's Razor... Occam's Razor is
a non-Biblical reason why there exists opposition to homosexuality.
The argument against Occam's Razor is obedience vs. submission...
There is nothing simplistic about obedience vs submission... Occam's
Razor seems non-threatening to me and yet it must be the case that
Occam's Razor is an intrinsic threat. I wouldn't comprehend it if it
wasn't for the obvious and apparent exception(s).
The rule is that God favors the obedient son and rejects the
submissive son... What obfuscation is there on the issue? Well, Jesus
says to let your yes mean yes and to let your no mean no... The
implications are to give no advanced warning as to what you are
capable of doing... Jesus and his advice on the matter is not such a
good idea. Being obedient to God is not such a good idea... Submission
is a weapon that people use effectively against those who are favored
by God. There is a possible reason why Jesus gives bad advice and that
reason is Greece... Greece was quite possibly the least submissive
culture in world history so if Jesus offers bad advice given the
present context and circumstance of our world society, then that is to
be expected... I saw the movie '300' recently... I was impressed...
You should always kill the messenger if he delivers bad news... I like
that...
