Spin is to genius as strings are to... virtuoso... Strings are
something that you can't get rid of in science given that virtuosos
want a career in science. I'm not really a genius if The Virginal Mary
is a genius... Statistically speaking, I may be a genius but in
reality, a genius is someone who doesn't feel anything. If a virtuoso
applies himself to science and makes good grades, then what is to be
done with an individual who is in a place he doesn't belong in? A
virtuoso is someone who lives up to expectations when he is under
tremendous pressure to perform. Most virtuosos abandon the idea of a
career in music because the excessive flattery they receive turns them
off. Ultimately, what I might conclude is that spin isn't going away
because of virtuosos. Genius and Virtuoso can coexist in the same
physics paradigm, but up to this point, strings needs to prove that
they can get a virtuoso into a paying job, otherwise, spin always wins
by default.
