Spanish - Hottest trend ?

Rebunglification is the _hottest trend_ in the prungle manufacturing
field today.

I can't think of a good way of getting "hottest trend" across in
Spanish. Things like "tendencia m�s caliente" or "m�s ardiente" might be
understood but they end up sounding a little weird all the same.

Any creative ideas?

What I hear young people say a lot is 'guay', pues: 'tendencia m�s guay'.

Nothing that involves heat. "de moda" perhaps. MH says "guay" which to my
ears translates into "cool" - "¡Qué guay!"

Yes, "cool" would have been easy, but it's too informal for this text.
It needs to be snappy and expressive and selling, without being too
colloquial.

"Cool" is too general as well. It just expresses a general feeling of
intense appreciation, whereas the meaning required here is for something
that is extremely "in" and "trendy".

I was thinking along the lines of the fashion world too. Maybe there is
some hype terminology from there that might apply.
