Thanks again to all, who posted jobs in May - together 254 postings.
The only other relevant job posting group (5,700 members) had 140
jobs posted, lot of them identical to our postings. All the other
groups are quickly becoming irrelevant, with only few jobs posted and
practically all of them duplicated postings.
Once again, if any of you want to volunteer their time to search for
jobs regularly (preferably daily) and have good internet connection
(preferably high speed), please contact me at
volu...@jobsfortranslators.comIt may take me some time to get back to you, but I will and let you
know what sites you may search in order not to duplicate postings.
The advantage of volunteering are several
1. You are helping others
2. You are also helping yourself, as your byline is at the bottom of
posting and 3,000 plus of your colleagues see it with every posting
of yours. And believe me, people remember, who helped them to get a
job, and soon or later will pay you back with another job, referral,
or help at your time of need.
I am a good example of that, as when I started to search Washington Post on
line and other places in mid nineties for E<>Czech/Slovak jobs and started to
post "junk" (other languages jobs) on CompuServe and email them for free to all
who asked for it, I made a few friends and got a couple of jobs I would not
have gotten otherwise (-:
So give it a thought and let me know
Take care and make $$$$$$$
