These are little wordings or toys, etc with magnet inbuilt so that
they stick to the fridge door. What is the exact English term for
them? Thanks.

Your guess is very close. In American English it's usually the full
form "refrigerator magnet", but I certainly wouldn't be surprised
to hear/see it abbreviated to "fridge magnet".
I have no idea what the term is in other varieties of English
(British, Australian, ...).
