I have to come to aesthete8's defense on this one particular post.
We've been asking him not to make posts that are just a link.
In this case, he's hasn't done that.
Also, TCM is widely available across the nation via cable so there is a good
chance readers have it.
(For example, I do.)
Of course, it's not really a Japanese language question per se, but I'd say
it's easily a topic people interested in Japanese might discuss, so it's
only mildly off-topic.
I guess, I'm inviting people to take the opposite side of the issue and I'm
bound to read things like: "No, way, this is completely inappropriate," but
my main point is that it's a much better effort on aesthete8's part than
his/her usual post.
