For over three days this group hasn't even sent spam to my reader.

Not much different from before--average about three posts fewer than
usual = 0, perhaps.

新しいモザーボードを買いました。　入れたところです。　すごい早そうです。
　本CPUは「Pentium 4」ってで　今のCPUはDual Coreですけどクロックスピード
のほうが本より遅いんです。　なんで早いみたいですかな。。。

Ah... I thought it was just me (or rather, the free news feed I use,
which has been sending nothing but error messages for a few days).

Looks like I need to set up a new account somewhere else anyway, yet
again.

ときに、ずっと前からだれかに説明してもらいたいことなんですけど、「新新し
いモザーボードを買いました」と「モザーボードを新しく買いました」はどうち
がうでしょうか。

さあ。一つは言葉の順番は違うんじゃないか。

ええと、形容詞と副詞のことを考えれば．．．Nope, I've got nuthin.

Is it possible that the マザーボード in the second sentence may not
itself be new, but it's new to the purchaser, whereas the マザーボード
in the first sentence is new for sure?

I'm just shooting in the dark, and expecting a certain someone to jump
out and try to insult me again.

Here's a question that comes to mind. マソヒズム Does the Japanese word
refer strictly to only the sexual proclivity, as in characters in a
Tanazaki novel, or can it be used as we use "masochism" somewhat
jokingly in English to refer to the act of foolishly attracting grief
when one should know better?
