We probably hadn't met face to face for 40 years, and my last e-mail from him
would be 15 to 20 years ago. I had no idea he had remarried, or moved from the
Reno area. (Having once been kidnapped, I understand, by people in a UFO, he
liked to stay near Area Whatever.)
He was *not* survived by our little sister Jewel (not "Jewell"); she preceded
him by about a year. I have another brother who hasn't been heard from in about
50 years, and a half-brother I knew only as an infant. Not a very close-knit
family, although Jewel tried to keep up with us all (she and I did stay in
touch).
