Hi Folks

I'm hoping I can get your feedback regarding a photography
project I'm working on. My main question is whether or not
geocachers will participate.

Here's the basic idea:
In the next several months I will be visiting historic trails
of North American explorers. Hiking parts of these trails, I'll
be looking for vistas to photograph in 360 degrees. Posting the
GPS coordinates for these locations, I'm hoping that other
geocachers will visit them to make their own photographs.
The photographs will be exhibited in groups according to location.
The groups will allow a comparison to be made as to how different
photographers photographed the same site.

As I said, I'm a bit unsure whether geocache enthusiasts will
find an interest in this and actually participate. I would very
much appreciate your feedback on this and suggestions you have
for encouraging participation.

Thanks in advance,
Jack

My impression of geocachers as a group makes me think that you'll find
a lot of people who are interested in participating in an unusual
project like yours. Why not, anyway?

I'll bet, too, that a lot of them have digital cameras as well - so if
you're planning a web-based exhibition, you'll probably be surprised
at the participation.
