Join our FREE webinar on Thursday, December 17 (12 noon PST/ 20:00 GMT)
GNSS/Inertial Integration sponsored by NovAtel, Inc.
In 90 minutes of presentation and discussion, you will learn about:
* Advantages and shortcomings of GPS, main features of inertial navigation,
complementary features of GNSS and INS
* Types of GNSS/inertial integration: loose, tight, deep
* MEMS vs. RLG or FOG IMU . . . the quality of IMU technologies and form factors
* Kalman filter: a key data fusion tool for GPS/INS integration
* Case studies: integration of GPS with inertial sensors using GPS carrier phase;
ultra-tight integration for carrier phase tracking, including sample results in presence
of GPS signal attenuation.
Presenters:
Mark Petovello
University of Calgary geomatics engineering faculty, Inside GNSS columnist, and
co-developer of GPS/INS and GPS/GLONASS software packages. He is an expert in satellite
navigation algorithm development, GPS/INS integration, GPS attitude determination,
reliability analysis and dead reckoning sensor integration.
Andrey Soloviev
University of Florida engineering education research faculty, Inside GNSS author, and
former research engineer at Ohio University Avionics Engineering Center. He specializes in
all aspects of multi-sensor integration for navigation applications.
