2011 SWC Year End Project Review Meeting SWC Meeting
The 2011 Stripper Well Consortium (SWC) will be hosting a technology
transfer
workshop
to review SWC-funded projects that are geared to support the development
of new
technologies to improve the production performance of the nation's stripper
wells.
Although many of these projects have been co-funded by SWC to support the
stripper
well industry, many of these technologies can be utilized for other oil
and gas
sectors, such as in unconventional gas plays.
Talks include:
* Shale Gas Technical Needs Discussion and SWC Cross Cutting Technologies
Presenter: Ben Franklin Shale Gas Innovation & Commercialization Center
* ArmorBelt(TM) Gas Lift System for Stripper Wells
* Evaluating and Commercializing a Solvent-based Enhanced Oil Recovery
Technology
* Well Stimulation Using Scrap Tires
* The Oil Recovery Tool: An Acoustic Source for Increased Production and
Prolonged
Lifetime of Marginal Wells
* Evaluation of Proppants Derived from Ion Exchanged Mixed Glass Cullet
for Use
in Gas-laden Shale Formations
* Low Cost Wet Gas Compressor for Stripper Gas Wells
* Jet Drilling with Energized Fluids
