WEEKLY TROPICAL CYCLONE SUMMARY #203 JUNE 18 - 25, 1995

North Atlantic Basin: No tropical cyclones.

Special Hurricane Allison Update (Summaries #200-201): Trailing bands from
Allison produced heavy rains over western Cuba. Press reports indicate that
one person was killed due to flooding.

Eastern North Pacific Basin (E of 140 Deg. W):

Hurricane Adolph: At the start of the summary period, Adolph was moving
northwest with 95 kt winds. Rapid weakening occurred, with Adolph dropping
to tropical storm status on 19 June and to tropical depression status the
next day. The storm turned west on 19 June, then it stalled near 18N 111W
the next day. Adolph dissipated near 18N 112W on 21 June. Although rain bands
and high surf affected the Mexican coast, there are no reports of damage or
casualties at this time.

Central North Pacific Basin (180 Deg. W to 140 Deg. W): No tropical cyclones.

Western North Pacific Basin (W of 180 Deg.): No tropical cyclones.

Special Tropical Storm Deanna/Auring Update (Summaries #200-201): Press
reports indicate that Deanna/Auring caused heavy rains over the Philippines
during its early development. These caused mudslides near the Mayon Volcano
that buried at least 140 homes. There are still no reports of casualties.

Special Tropical Storm Eli Update (Summaries #200-201): In addition to the
data in the previous summaries, Apra Harbor on Guam reported 34 kt sustained
winds with gusts to 48 kt at 0600 UTC 4 June. The minimum pressure was 1003.3
mb. There are still no reports of damage or casualties.

North Indian Ocean Basin: No tropical cyclones.

South Indian Ocean Basin (W of 135 Deg. E): No tropical cyclones.

South Pacific Ocean Basin (E of 135 Deg. E): No tropical cyclones.
