No heat flow from the Earth interior through the crust

Hi

I have made a calculation today about the adiabatic heat gradient in
the earth crust. I found it to be comparable to the measured value
thus leading me to conclude that there is no heat flow through the
crust.

Without this energy flow from the earth interior an source for global
heating twice the size of the human energy consumption disappears

It assumes a stationary Earth or thermally driven 'convection cells'
as a mechanism which cannot explain symmetrical crustal development
off the entire length of the MAR.

The Earth is not exempt from fluid dynamics therefore the rotating
viscous interior must display signatures of differential rotation
which actually are transmitted to surface geology via fracture
zones,arcs,orientation and motion of the major crustal plates as a
signature of the internal rotational dynamics.

Chances are that GOCE will pick up rotational dynamics which bind
planetary shape with crustal motion via the specifics of rotational
dynamics of the interior composition.

HI

I was wrong and I removed the calculation. What I did calculate was
that the heat gradient compensates for the compression of the crust.
The thermal expansion balances the compression due to increasing
pressure at larger depths. Is this coincidental?
