When I was in 5th grade, my science book showed a painting of "What would
happen if the Ice Age returned today!" It showed the edge of a glacier
just in the process of knocking over the Empire State Building.

Recently I became professionally interested in the ice ages. I currently
have a paper under consideration by Nature analysing the 100 kyr
"Milankovitch cycle."

I have looked all over for a book that has that painting of the Empire
State Building crumbling. I would dearly love to have it for talks I
give, and to put up on my wall. Does anyone out there know where I can
find a copy? If you know a textbook that has it, I can probably get it at
the University of California library.
