74 events 6+, reviewing the data! AN ABSOLUTE RECORD.

In my post, March,14, I had note a complete
record of 52 events Magn. 6+ in 30 days for
our Planet. But, now, with the recent data
of the USGS, I can inform to you that we had
a COLOSSAL record:
74 earthquakes, Magn 6+ or more from March 09,
(a 7.3 in Japan), to a 7.1, April 07, also in Japan.
The big 9.0 of March 13, 2011 included.The first
event out of this country, was in March,17,
(Magn. 6.2)
It is an ABSOLUTE record an a definitive fact
in the clusterization approach, and of course
a good proof of the extra Planet energy that
we are increasingly receiving.

If you look at where those quakes are occurring the majority of them
are in the Japan area. About 96% of them are aftershocks from the
9.0M quake. This is normal. The 7.3M was a foreshock to the 9.0M and
the 7.1M was an aftershock. It is nothing more then the area settling
in to a new position. If the 9.0M quake hadn't occurred you wouldn't
be seeing those quakes. Don

completely different, only 37 events.
10, in 74, is not 04%. All, In least of 30 days! My study is not a
sampling, it is an analysis
of the all of 30 days periods, from 1983.

Hi Alexis. Below is your post. No where in there does it say
anything about quakes from 1983 or the Sumatra quake. The only thing
you talk about is the Japan quake. Indeed there are a lot of
aftershocks.
Major quakes are like snowflakes. There are no two alike. One with
have a lots of aftershocks some may a moderate number and there are
some that will not have any. Those quakes are the real deep ones
where quakes are not suppose to be able to occur.
If there is extra Planet energy where is it coming from? What is the
source. How does it get here. What is this extra energy?
The area of the 9.0M in Japan is still releasing energy and will
continue to do so for many years. The last quake of this magnitude to
have occurred in this area was 869. That means there has been 1142
years for the energy to build to produce a 9.0M quake. However that
energy just doesn't go away or dissipate into nothing. It moves to
another area. Those areas could be along a parallel fault or near the
ends of the fault that just had the 9.0M quake.

You can do a world search at the NEIC database and specify the
magnitude you wish to record. If you want to transfer it to a spread-
sheet for working with the data, get it in comma delimited columns.
When you paste into the sheet specify unformatted text and comma
delimiters.
Hmmm...
I just tried it with Micrapsoft XL, get a copy of Office Libre or Open
Office and specify pste special and unformatted text.
