much rather try to convince scientists that, because 1998 was
anomalously warm, GW has therefore stopped and the earth is therefore

Hadley confirms the early warming from the period of La Nina
conditions in March; 12th warmest March in the sequence with an
anomaly of +0.31C. April satellite figures will be out this week. The
warming towards probable record global temoeratures again, during the
next El Nino, will not be linear; it never is, but April looks as if
it may well be in the top 10 warmest Aprils in the satellite series,
despite a double-dip La Nina finishing only a month ago. The warming
appears unusually rapid.
