Photosynthesis is a process that converts carbon
dioxide into organic compounds, especially
sugars, using the energy from sunlight.
In plants photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide and
water, releasing oxygen as a waste product.
Photosynthesis is vital for life on Earth. As well
as maintaining the normal level of oxygen in the
atmosphere, nearly all life either depends on it
directly as a source of energy, or indirectly as
the ultimate source of the energy in their food.
The amount of energy trapped by photosynthesis
is immense, approximately 100 terawatts: which
is about six times larger than the power
consumption of human civilization.
As well as energy, photosynthesis is also the
source of the carbon in all the organic compounds
within organisms' bodies. In all, photosynthetic
organisms convert around 100,000,000,000
tonnes of carbon into biomass per year.
That's why you need to get all the natural organic CO2 you can into
your lungs. Find a sturdy air tight plastic bag and place it over
your head. Make sure you have plenty of duct tape . . .
Bret Cahill
to sum up:
in order to have lots of oxygen in the atmosphere to breathe, we need
to dig up more carbon out of the ground and combine it with
atmospheric oxygen.
i'm skeptical about your plan.

There are three types of people that you
can_not_talk into behaving well. The
stupid, the religious fanatic, and the evil.
1-The stupid aren't smart enough to
follow the logic of what you say. You
have to tell them what is right in very
simple terms. If they don't agree, then
you'll never be able to change their mind.
2- the religious fanatic
If what you say goes against their
religious belief, they will cling to that
religious belief even if it means their
death."
3- There is no way to reform evil-
Not in a million years
There is no way to convince the terrorists,
anthropogenic global warming alarmists,
serial killers, paedophiles, and predators
to change their evil ways. They knew what
they were doing was wrong, but that
knowledge didn't stop them. It only made
them more careful in how they went about
performing their evil acts.
•• You are so twisted you make pretzels seem straight.
Stupid is right go back to your high school science books.
I am no fan of Cahill. But every now and then he nails things pretty
well. And he has nailed yer ass to the barn door.

A few years ago, just before most of the AGW deniers gave up the
ghost, about when most of the web energy shills lost their contracts,
the CO2Science page announced
"CO2 is good for you."
CO2Science tried the pristine = good approach on the granolas saying
that 2 billion years ago there was 6X more CO2 than today.
Eventually some scholarly type quietly responded that humans couldn't
have survived that climate either.
It was a great moment but no one laughed.

•• I don't know of whom you are calling 'stupid'
but it appears you were talking to yourself .
Actually I dug that bit out of Wikipedia via google
just a step above the kiddie pictures so you might
comprehend it.
•• A brief recap:~
•• photosynthetic organisms convert around
100,000,000,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide into
biomass per year.

So you're saying that the more carbon we dig up and combine with
atmospheric oxygen, the more oxygen we'll have to breathe.
OK, I'll concede maybe someone did laugh.
