Jct: 3:50 A bank does not lend 10 times the amount of the deposit,
they lend 90% over and over.. nor does $100 create a new $1000, it
creates $900 for a total of $1,000.
The historical parts proving government interest-free money works are
great. Roman Aes Grave copper and bronze chips, King Henry's wooden
Tallies, Colonial Scrip, US Continentals, Lincoln Greenbacks (though
he doesn't credit President Buchanan (before Lincoln) with the idea).
But though he advocates government having an interest-free account, he
leaves borrowers at the mercy of the loanshark 100%-reserve piggy
banks' mort-gage death-gamble contracts. Why can't people get interest-
free chips too? LETS accounts for gvt & people too!
