Allan Avionics 'blue bricks'

I have a small pile of the Allan Avionics hum eliminator bricks (#av1059)
with broken BNC connectors. Anyone have a trick for opening these boxes?
They seem to be potted, and so far have resisted my efforts to pry off the
cover.
