Fellow NG Readers:

We (Cornell Univ. and BEAM Engineering) are doing work for NASA
in the area of mixing enhancement, design of mixing enhancement
devices for jets, and the like. We are interested in finding out about
people active in the area of mixing enhancement in fluid flows. Any and all
information is welcome. Also, work that characterizes mixedness is
of interest.

Thanks

At the University of Minnesota we have been working on jet mixing control
(both enhancement and suppression) with annular counterflow. If you're
interested, here are a couple of our papers:

Strykowski & Niccum, JFM, v207, 1991, p. 309-343
Strykowski & Wilcoxon, AIAA J, v31 n3, 1993, p. 564-570
