Hi everyone,

I am currently undertaking a task which requires an analysis of seepage
from an open pit into an underlying aquifer.

It is possible that seepage will occur along distinct fracture zones. Does
anyone know of software availability relating to rock mass permeability
which I can use to do some initial sensitivity analyses based on some
in-situ permeability measurements, joint spacing etc, along the guidelines
of Priest's book "Discontinuity Analysis for Rock Engineering". I am
interested in looking at some type of flow network analysis rather than a
continuum type approach. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Good evening Terry

You might want to post this message to two other news groups.

sci.geo.geology
sci.engr.mining

This will give your request for information a much broader
readership.
