  The fcc.gov website allows anyone to search to see if a particular product has been submitted to the FCC for approval. Am I correct in thinking that there is no European equivalent website for CE marking?

reducing Conducted Emission from Power Fan in high frequency band over 50MHz 
  I am writting at my diploma thesis with an EMC theme. If got a power fan (13V / 6A) witch produces conducted emissions, so I have to reduce them to achieve CISPR25. Two Prong outlet replacement 
  I live in New York City, and have come to realize that I should replace some old 2 prong outlets. I am sure that I only have the hot and neutral in these outlets, supplyed through grounded metal flex. Is it allowed to use the the armor as a ground or do I have to find replacement 2 prong outlets or GFIC outlets?... more »
