What is being described is not workable. The two slanted beams are not
stable with a pin connection unless the ends of the slanted beams are
supported? How are the slanted beams connected to the the upper beam and
supported at the ends a single pin will not work. More description is need
to determine the model for what you are describing. Do your free-body
diagram and you will see how to model this for a structural analysis
program.

Sounds to me that two sloping roof rafters being support at a ridge beam.
The pressures are downward and lateral force will balance out against each
other unless one side of the roof is loaded and the other is not. There
will be a vertical force to be supported by the ridge beam. If you need a
connection just go to Home Depot.
