Sr. Scientist/ Scientst/ Biochemist
The scientist will isolate and identify human blood serum components and bacterial cell wall components affecting assay performance. The scientist will also closely interact with engineering firms during instrument development of the next generation testing test. The scientist will interact with the project leader as well as supervise the efforts of research associates, assisting junior staff in troubleshooting and scientific problem solving. The successful candidate will be able to mentor junior staff and help them to develop scientific competencies that promote their career development and the success of the project, and will play a major role in internal R&D data meetings with senior management. The scientist will identify relevant scientific findings from the literature, and working with the project leader, independently direct the focus of assay development in his project.
