Hi

I am starting a project which seeks to give destitute South Africans
an income through the use of eco-friendly technologies. I'm currently
researching the viability of using a bicycle fitted with a pedal
powered blender to make Eco-Smoothies (fruit shakes) along our
bustling beaches.

Passing reference has been made to the existence of pedal powered
blenders on various websites, but none provide details or design tips.
I'm eager not to re-invent the wheel and would sincerely appreciate it
if you could offer any advice on whom I could contact or where I could
find helpful design information.

Thanks

Dave

For commercial use, I imagine you'd want a Waring.

There are plenty of ways to get 12VDC from leg (and solar)
power. 'course you'll probably also want to use a battery.
That would allow the operator to pedal when there isn't any
business, and then stop to make the smoothies at full power.
