Anyone have a schematic on this or know what C472 should be replaced with - it
appears to be non-polarized electrolytic.
Thanks,

I have been told it is 8.2 mfd 50 WV non-polarized. When I check with Mouser I
find an 8.2 mfd 50 WV but it says it is bi-polar. Can anyone explain to me the
difference between bi-polar and non-polarized. A man at Mouser tried to but I
did not get it. Thanks.

I found something on this in a book of mine by Bernard Grob. A bipolar
electrolytic consists of two electrolytics connected internally in
series-opposition which then can be used in either polarity but the capacitance
is cut in half. Now I wonder if 2 in series doubles the WV as would normally
be with 2 in series?
Right now I cannot see any difference between a bi-polar and a non-polarized
electrolytic except for the confusion of figuring out just what the WV would
be.
Anyone got any thoughts on this? I would like to get this VCR/TV fixed but
want to put the right capacitor in it and not experiment with it. Thanks.

Matt-Sackman's TV
The absent minded professor has lost the back to this Emerson VCT120 TV/VCR
Combination. I had a clean up day and think I cleaned up a little too much.
Do any of you have a junker one of these that has a back that you would sell at
a reasonable cost?
Thanks,
