A bachelor's degree and $85000 spent on it proved to be the worst
investment of my life. I would have been much, much better off as an
electrician or plumber

everyone is thinking they need to go into a trade or go into medical.
but the reality is that soon nobody will be able to afoord to pay for
this stuff.

medical industry is now trying to get the govt to tax working people
to subsidize their over priced services. eventually that scam will
fall through as well.

Both of those options are very good moves for the vast majority. We do
not have a shortage of managers or bankers or insurance salesmen.

The reality is that you are a money grubbing rentier who refuses to make
any contribution to the community and expects to be paid for doing
nothing.

Yes. A single payer system is the best near term answer. total
socialization of the medical system may be a better way top go but it
seems unlikely.

But you are correct in your claim that the providers and the insurers are
doing all that can to rob the public till.

The US will eventually end up with the same system every modern first world country has.

Only if people can afford to pay for it. With the housing bust,
people can't even afford to pay their morgages.

Some segement of the economy has to be generating wealth. Generally
this comes from heavy investments in R&D of science & techology along
with excellent innovation, product development & global marketing. I
call that the real economy as that is what generates wealth. Needless
to say plumbing is not in that category unless the plumber has
invented a revolutionary new toilet.

Sadly the present system has been hijacked by bankers, lawyers, ceos,
other free loaders..etc. who are diverting money from the real economy
into 'industries' which really do not produce anything tangible. Free
loaders have joined in hoping for a heist but they are late to the
game.

The only question is with 72% of the economy just being consumerism,
who's generating the real wealth.

I suggest you take your hands off other people's wallet for a change.
You may think you have financial struggles but so do other people.
They are struggling just as hard to make ends meet. Unless you are in
government, banking or the medical field, then you got a good racket
going and you're on easy street.

Ultimately any system where a person is not responsible for his own
bills means someone else is being forced to pick up the tab.

Tell you what, I'll trade you. A single payer income tax where only
one person in a family pays income tax ... in exhange for your sinlge
payer medical system. Deal?

Now lets keep our eyes out for a sucker who we can off load the
resulting revenue deficit on. We need to confiscate his wealth asap
to make him pay for the above programs.

That comment is absolute supreme stupidity. The productive members of
this society will not long put up with assholes like you.

Well you can bet yer ass it wont be those who sit around counting up
paper claims and clearing balances.

Piss on global marketing and piss on you. Government has more money
accidentally than you will ever even IMAGINE on purpose. Why you stupid
shits think YOUR money is need to finance things remains a matter of real
amazement to any intelligent person.

I

No, moron, plumbers produce wealth in the form of plumbing systems for
factories, businesses and homes. Financial assholes create paper claims.

We finally see an intelligent comment among the chaff.

Very few. Amazing, isn't it that China continues to take worthless paper
in return for actual goods, actual wealth.

As I said: A money grubbing rentier; very concerned about his wallet at
all times. I have posited that your money is not needed and therefore
not of any use to the society.

That is really waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy out there.

What you refuse to learn is that an single payer insurance system doesn't
actually do what you claim. The people who derive benefits are the
people who pay the premiums. You are simply too damned stupid to reason
that out.

> Tell you what, I'll trade you. A single payer income tax where only one

Your stupidity is illustrated by the deal you are trying to make. A
proper single payer system is funded off budget with flat rate medicare
taxes on any kind of income and augmented with excise taxes on
consumption known to cause health problems.

You have been advised that your "wealth" is not needed. So just sit in
your cave and count your worthless paper claims.

The absolute vast bulk can.

Nope, they can just provide services instead.

Pigs arse it does. Fuck all of any of that in most service industrys.

Fuck all of any of that in most service industrys.

More fool you.

Pity that stuff is what the absolute vast bulk of the economy is actually about.

Thats what the service sector is about, fool.

And then there's completely unemployable fools like you.

No such animal.

Wrong, as always. Its actually about those who are currently healthy paying
for those that arent, because most of them will need health care sometime.

Nope.

You'll end up completely blind if you dont watch out.

It so absurd what the cranks in :Universities charge for education,
that's mostly the reason why the people who don't belong to the
idiot religion of string theory work on holograms, laserdisks,
fiber optics, hdtv, on-line banking on-line publishing, on-line
shopping,
and self-assembling robots anyway.
