Watched 'Inside the NSA' on NatGeo last weekend. I was surprised by the
number of cryptoanalists that are working at the NSA since I would
think that with AES, RSA and SHA-256 there would be little to analyze.
I mean, I can rattle up at least a dozen ciphers from memory which are
unbreakable. What is there to analyze? Are they probing for
implementation errors or seeding errors in the PNG?
The show also showed some NSA mathematician performing some trivial RSA
calculations on a white board. All in all, not very impressive work. If
people would start to encrypt all their communications, the NSA would
be hard pressed to listen in.

I watched Romney's acceptance speech on youtube, and the New Hampshire speech.
I could not watch the first one to the end, the second one was OK.
But hey
It seem his program is back to the past, like in times where it was all wild
and fighting injuns, and then he says: Make me Sheriff'.
Or something like that.
There is the current US, with all its infrastructure, and sure it is a card house,

whipping little kids at Mc Donalds, and as Ipad tweeter, although there already is a limit,
but not as a politician in todays climate.
Then Romney wants an even stronger army, well US has H nukes, that should be enough to wipe out
anything they do not like and start a 'wild west there',
but that is nothing new now is it, so then what could Romney do?
You scrapped your Apollos, so to start the wild west on mars fighting Martians with him as sheriff would not
happen in his lifetime, and really for that sort of things he is too old
and does not have the technical skills needed, so how many Americans will buy that shit he
was trying to sell in those videos?
Mitt Mitt Mitt (like MIT where he should go to learn how to live on mars??)
I dunno, I am all for 0bama being replaced, but hey these days Americans want warm feet, security, wars and injuns far away from their beds.

Telecommunications bounced off satellites are out-of-jurisdiction and the telecomm system does a lot of bouncing.
Does a random number generator seeded with the timer produce the same numbers at millisecond 10,000 on Friday as it did on millisecond 10,000 on Thursday ? In other words, can a random number generator be mapped ?
Is the Blackberry e-mail system more secure than other e-mail systems ?
Do commerical encryption systems have backdoor keys for the cops ?
