CALL FOR PAPERS
General Information : The Asiacrypt'96 conference sponsored by the Korea
Institute of Information Security and Cryptology (KIISC), in cooperation with
the International Association for Cryptologic Research will be held at Hilton
Hotel, Kyongju, South Korea. Original papers are solicited on all aspects of
theory and applications of information security and cryptology.
Topics of Interest : The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Authentication Digital Signature Practical Aspects
Banking Security Electronic Money Cryptographic Protocols
Block Ciphers Foundations and Theory Pseudo-Randomness
Combinatorics Identification Public Key Systems
Communication Security Implementation Smart Cards
Computer Security Key Management Stream Ciphers
Cryptanalysis Number Theory Standards
Cryptographic Hash Functions Network Security Zero Knowledge
Instructions for authors : Authors are invited to submit original papers,
neither published nor submitted for publication elsewhere, by sending 16 copies
of an extended abstract containing at most 10 single-spaced pages of 12pt type,
not counting the bibliography and clearly marked appendices to Dr. Kwangjo Kim,
one of the Program Co-Chairs, at the address given below. The title page should
contain the title, the names of the authors, their postal and E-mail addresses,
phone and fax numbers. The extended abstract should start with the title and
abstract, but should be anonymous (no author name, affiliations,
acknowledgment, or obvious references). This should be followed by a succint
statement appropriate for a non-specialist reader specifying the subject
addressed, its background, the main achievements, and their significance to
cryptology.
Conference Proceedings : Proceedings will be published in the Springer-Verlag
Lecture Notes in Computer Science, and they will be available at the meeting.
Important Dates
Deadline of extended abstracts : May 20, 1996 (or postmarked by May 15, 1996)
Notification of acceptance or rejection : July 22, 1996
Final copies due : August 19, 1996
