"the botany and chemistry of hallucinogens"

i guess i'm not surprised about the lack of coverage

he brought to the human beings.
Galathaea so nice to see your posts again.
How often does a life like his take place?
He was a true GentleMan! Unique, Human.
He hung out with us a long while.
He has moved on.
We will miss that smile and those eyes.
I read that!
An amazing man! 102, WOW! A chemist, a scientist, a pioneer and
spiritualist! Article says his wife died shortly before he did too. We
are all a little poorer with his passing. :-(
Wish I still had my copy of "LSD: My Problem Child" but I believe I
gave it back to the library in a wave of sudden ethics!

That rendering with him is so beautiful.
As did Timothy Leary
He was a Yippie.....a hippie with real revolutionary ideals, instead of fake
arseholes (Beatles, anyone?) just paying lip service to the movement. I'm
surprised he wasn't knocked off by the CIA years ago.........
I checked this am. He's still dead.

Oh, yeah, those stupid-ass Beatles. Nothing but lip service. It's not like
they changed millions of lives with their message of peace and love, or
anything. I mean, who the hell even noticed when Lennon died? If he'd been a
*real* revolutionary, people would have come together all over the world as
one to mourn him.

Foreman: Mocking me saves lives?
House: The hospital will probably build you a statue one day. You know, with
a 'kick me' sign on the back. You know, when you think about it, the more I
mock you, the more it shows I have respect for you.
Foreman: Or you made up that BS because you like humiliating me.
House: Wouldn't rule that out completely.

The names are spelled differently. I think Albert is 'Hofmann' and Abbie is
'Hoffman', but I'm too busy enjoying my Hawaiian baby woodrose trip right
now to go spend time checking it for sure. I feel ashamed of myself every
time I must admit that I can't remember off the top of my head which is
which with absolute certainty, but whatchagonnado.

And I believe you are confusing 'nut job' with 'genius'. Understandable,
since the two are often hard to distinguish with perfect precision. For
example, I'm both.

Don't forget to check again tomorrow!

House: Is he Canadian?
Cameron: He is a low priority.
House: Is that a yes?
Get you a business card: 'Wiley E. Coyote - Super Genius'
Both admirable people in their own way

What lack of coverage? His obituary was in most newpapers here, and
his death mentioned in pretty much all of the ones I saw in the day or
so after his death. It was pretty widely reported.

Yes, a quiet man who (however unintentionally), touched, and continues
to touch many lives - a sacrement that works. I think people tend to
remember their first LSD trip better than the first time they took
"holy communion".

It was awesome when Stephen Colbert paid a tribute. He pretended to
accidentally dose and have a wacky trip and everything.

Cuddy: You keep food in the morgue?
House: If I keep it in the lounge, everyone else eats it.
Cuddy: That's 'cause it's everyone else's food.
House: Oh, I thought it was just everyone else's bags.
The lack of coverage that says Francis Crick dropped
frequently?
