If I store a metal spoon made of stainless steel in a plastic
container of powdered ascorbic acid(no water added), will the spoon
render the vitamin C(ascorbic acid) useless or destroy it? What about
most other metals?

As long as it stays dry, no. Make sure it is not a "steriling silver"
spoon, however.

Too many metals. Recommend you obtain a plastic measuring spoon, and
use that instead.
