Does anybody know how to paint on fresh flowers?
Any formula for the dye or paint?
Flower preparation, initial coat, finishing coat?
We are looking for an alternative to floral color spray.
It would be interesting to create a black rose. Or a flower with
multi-colored petals.
Thanks.

Tom

You are welcome. It wasn't my idea. I got it from Bob Crane of
Cranes' creations in Tacoma. Along the same lines it might be
worthwhile trying something such as ink. I think the pigments will
concentrate so the more and darker pigments the more color. I also
wonder about watering a growing plant with colored water.

As near as I know the less color (e.g. whiter) the better.

you can purchase a small artist's air-brush paint sprayer and you
could simply spray with ink-jet refills available from many stores
like kmart or wal-mart it is highly controllable and can paint very
fine lines also or cover the whole flower
