This is the first time I have ever posted so I hope it works out ok.
Anyway, there was a posting on Marine Biology schools and good ones
to go to. I am going into Marine Biology and I was wondering the
focuses of different schools. In particular the programs at the
University of Delaware and the University of Maryland.

I just wanted some input from someone who has been through the programs
not just from the material you get from the department.

Thanks in advance.

I've been at University of Delaware since 1976, first as a graduate
student, then as a professional staff member. I'll be happy to put you in
contact with grad students or faculty. Also. I'd be happy to answer any
questions you might have.

The UD College of Marine Studies is an excellent graduate school, with
faculty in many areas of marine biology, plant physiology and biochemisty
and biotechnology. The college emphasizes the interdisiplinary nature of
marine biology/oceanography. The campus is split between Newark and Lewes,
80 miles south at the mouth of Delaware Bay. The two facilities are
connected with an interactive TV system for classes. Most of the biology
students are located in Lewes.
