Biorepository Manager
Primary responsibilities include the following:
* Establishes and manages metrics measuring compliance to inventory
control policies and procedures at all company locations. * Oversees
processes for improving and monitoring inventory accuracy, monitoring
delivery of materials, and identifying and removing obsolete materials
from biorepository. * Develops, implements and maintains effective
audit and quality control procedures. * Oversees distribution process,
including coordinating deliveries, maintaining distribution records
and managing vendors. * Updates and maintains Department SOPs and
Procedure Manual. * Ensures proper quality control in specimen
handling and shipping. * Maintains equipment and storage tanks. *
Prepares monthly reports. * Maintains biorepository alarm system. *
Attends various monthly meetings and participates on committees as
needed. * Other duties and projects as required.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Science and a minimum five years management
experience; experience with software systems, logistics, and budgetary
controls. * Ability to travel to Branch locations on a quarterly basis
or as needed. * MS Office proficiency - Strong computer skills,
including by not limited to, Windows environment (Word, Excel, Access,
Power Point - Intermediate to Advanced skills) required. * Training in
the handling of liquid nitrogen a plus. * Ability to frequently lift
and/or move up to 30 pounds. * Excellent written/verbal communication
and interpersonal skills. * Strong customer focus. * Outstanding
problem-solving and organizational skills. * Strong attention to
detail. * Ability to work independently. * Ability to concurrently
manage multiple projects.=
