  <title type="text">wet weight or dry weight basic when calculate toxic substance concentration? Why?</title>

  I am a bit confusing to decide to calculate the concentration of heavy &lt;br&gt; metals on the basis of wet weight or dry weight. For me, it seems that &lt;br&gt; dry weight is more appropriate than wet weight basis because it is &lt;br&gt; less variable and less depend on water content. However, my supervisor &lt;br&gt; had different opinion. Anyone out there can help me to solve this
