Goal Overview
Part 1

In 1970 I began studying Astrology essentially as a skeptic. A traumatic
series of injuries lead me to question life deeply. This introspection
lead me to questions about existence and the nature of life in general.
The more I studied metaphysics and astrology, the more evidence I was
able to find for its validity by applying it.1 Because I had studied
animal life extensively to this point (including a mastery of the art of
falconry at age 14), it was easy for me to see that metaphysics was
simply a more expanded and inclusive version of physics. However, there
was a major drawback to these studies. Because of the "disbelief" in
these subjects such as astrology, I had to begin a program of
"unbrainwashing" myself and perspectives I had acquired from early on.
Astrology and metaphysical subjects were still framed in the linguistics
and negativism from the era from whence we stopped regarding them as
relevant. Now, it is our focus on commercialism and the
industrial/territorial perspective that has lead us away from man,
"God", and nature being one and the same. This is the result of
profoundly delusional collective ego focus. This focus was adopted with
the perspective "deus ex machina," wherein the deity or God exists
separate from nature; and is a psychological delusion of grandeur in no
uncertain terms. This psychosis of mankind is the effect of a runaway
ego based on the premise that manipulation, "accomplishment",
"achievement", domination, are the only signatures of intelligence (and
why it has taken us so long to acknowledge cetacean marine life as
"intelligent"). This is why we make sports figures "heroes." This
relates to the egocentric Greek/Roman perspective (which much of the
societal structure of the US is founded upon) that Man is the measure of
all things.
With this basic understanding in mind, it became my goal to update and
revise in as modern as possible terms, the knowledge of astrology
primarily, and of metaphysics secondarily (Tyl, 1972) that removed the
objectionable value judgments that allows some in academia to continue
to ridicule these profound and ancient subjects. It is obvious to anyone
with a thorough working knowledge of astrology that there is a strong
and possibly empirically provable connection between astronomical
mechanics and psychological affect (if the proper design can be devised
to operationalize and test it). It is through psychology that I am
pursuing an accurate working model of modern psychological theory and
astrological premise based on the tremendous work of Noel Tyl, a Harvard
graduate who's work in this area is the most impressive to date. A model
that demonstrates the truth behind the concept that we do indeed create
our own reality and that nothing is truly outside of our consciousness.
There has been one major difficulty. All of my beliefs about reality
have been, and are having to be modified. I have studied Albert
Einstein's theories of relativity to some extent and have found a great
correlation of the relativity premise to describe psychic material and
its relation to physical experiential reality. In essence, that we
create our experiential reality relative to the beliefs and definitions
we hold psychically about reality.2 There is no empirically existent
external reality per se, except for the agreed upon simultaneous
perception of shared experience that we collectively create and label
"the" reality (please see my "Nature of Reality" references, Bashar,
Darryl Anka, Seth, Jane Roberts, John Mack, Harvard Psychology, and Amit
Goswami, Physics).
Obviously these holistic recognitions lead to a questioning of the
"health" of the premise of multi-interdisciplinary subjects and
understandings long presumed separate and non-integrated. Science is a
useful tool, but when made the "deity" it destroys holistic and
holographic integrity (that the whole organizes the parts). Therefore,
to reinstate this lost cognition, I wrote an article (Saturn Opposition
Saturn, 1986) introducing the concept of how we create our reality from
early environmental schemata, and demonstrated through actual case
histories, the astrological mechanics of this truth.3 In this article I
demonstrated how the natal astronomical position of Saturn reflected
certain fears and beliefs acquired as schema, reflected in the early
environment psychologically, and delineable through the astrological
significators that define the parental structure. This schemata was then
shown to be experienced as a crisis (belief materialized) in maturity at
or around age fourteen. This (Saturnine quadrature) concept was also
introduced and discussed in Tyl's work (1972). This internalized
schemata revealed through astrological analysis, has been demonstrated
as an unconscious belief internalized and repressed early on, catalyzed
by parental interaction.
The critical aspect of this publication is that two things could be
demonstrated with a high degree of reliability; that there was indeed a
correlation between astrological significators and behavior, and that
the reality experienced at a later date was the effect of the
patternization of belief and an experiencing of the self and it's
definitions. The only confirmation of an empirically existing external
reality from my research in this area, has been that the physical
experience existed as a set of props; as a learning aid for the
individual and as the effect of definitions held. Physical reality was
demonstrated to be a mirror to allow the individual to examine the
schemata held.
Thus, one of the primary goals of my academic work is greater exposure
to, and incorporation of, a wider range of beliefs and paradigms based
on my recognition that all must fit holographically, and to blend
diversity this with astrological cognitions. Also, to incorporate and
integrate the existing educational structure's guidelines of accepted
knowledge formats, and bring them into a cogent structure of the
existing knowledge I have of other disciplines in metaphysics and the
natural world. These other disciplines in return add credence (or
clarify) and reference to things already known to myself to be true.
"The" truth is the composition of all truths (Bashar).
I will reference current accepted academic paradigms in a manuscript now
complete that is an integrated guide to self- empowerment. A guide that
will allow individuals to reference commonly accepted formats of the
educational structure while it introduces the student to astrological
principles and the psychology of reality creation. A fuller
comprehension of cross-disciplines adds more flexibility, power, and
understanding of how the whole organizes the parts.

It is my opinion that the world monetary structures are undergoing and
will continue to undergo, a tremendous destructurization (starting in
force after 2000, because our values are), wherein not only will our
basic aspects of daily life be revolutionized, but our fundamental
philosophies of the nature of existence will be questioned. My goal is
to educate and provide an outlet for the fulfillment of what will appear
to be disaster (de-structurization), but is in "reality" the best thing
that ever happened to mankind. The re-cognition that the deity is all
one thing and that no "part" can be outside of that whole. We will
transform by taking back power we have given away in this illusion we
call external reality.

Goal Overview
Part 2

In part 1 of this goal overview, I discussed some of the primary aims of
my research and integration of academic applications. In this section we
will discuss some of the factors that make up the overall inductive
argument that has been the premise of my writings. That is that the
detriment of science is its dogmatic adherence to ignoring the
organizing power of the whole. These assertions and factors I
incorporate follow in a semi-outline form and reflect the layout of my
manuscript; "The Integrated Astrological Guide to Self- Empowerment."
1. First and foremost an accurate clarification of definitions (or
redefinition for clarity) that will be used in any discussion is a
requisite, i.e.; The word dis-ease is commonly interpreted to mean a
malfunctioning of a system of a plant or animal. However, a more
accurate definition is that the dis-ease is within the organism as a
whole as a state of being, and is what predisposes an individual to the
malfunctioning of the system. In other words, the inability of the
individual to welcome developmental tension as a precursor to identity
validation and fulfillment, creates the state of dis-ease (from old
French desaise). This state of being is the effect of living in a state
of hell (parts artificially separated from the whole). If we trace the
root for this word in old English _helan_ it becomes much easier to see
that I am not being flippant. Helan means to cover over, or to hide.
Now, from a psychological point of view, there are different levels of
psychic material i.e., the unconscious, conscious, superconscious. To
the psychologically aware, it is not a great stretch to recognize that a
consistent and prolonged hiding of unconscious trauma and/or
guilt/belief patterns could be reflected in an individual's day-to-day
conscious mind functioning, allow for application dysfunction, (sexual,
mental) create insecurity, or in an overall sense a state of dis-ease
that allows the organism to be vulnerable to physical system malfunction
and bacterial or viral invasion.
Therefore, the importance of definition clarification allows us to
proceed from clarity of understanding, and that other systems and
disciplines can be successfully integrated because of their inherent
cogency once understood clearly. There is really little difference
between varying discipline's discoveries and their cross-relevance,
which most often reflect point number 2.
Heuristics ("to find out", aiding or leading on toward discovery).
Which, through implied meaning, allows us to re-cognize (rethink) the
original intent, remove mystery, and dis-cover (anti-helan) the
integrated nature of the universe by dis-cerning (Latin to separate or
distinguish) the difference between a repressed unconscious pattern or
belief projection we may have been taught, and analytical
clear-sightedness. How can this be achieved? It can only be through the
knowledge of self. Through the awareness of the functioning of these
levels of psychic material, which are responsible for the subjective
interpretation and creation of the experience itself.

"The recognition and taking to heart of the subjective determination of
knowledge in general, and of psychological knowledge in particular, are
basic conditions for the scientific and impartial evaluation of a psyche
different from that of the observing subject. These conditions are
fulfilled only when the observer is sufficiently informed about the
nature and scope of his own personality. He can, however, be
sufficiently informed only when he has in large measure freed himself
from the levelling influence of collective opinions and thereby arrived
at a clear conception of his own individuality . . . "The collective
attitude hinders the recognition and evaluation of a psychology
different from the subject's, because the mind that is collectively
oriented is quite incapable of thinking and feeling in any other way
than by projection."Carl Jung, Psychological Types, The Type Problem in
Classical and Medieval Thought. pg 10, paragraphs 11, 12.
It is only possible to accurately interpret the universe when we
recognize our union with it. All-that-is (God) is all one thing. All
things within it can only be all of the possible ways that all-that-is
has of creating itself into being (Pantheistically). Therefore, all
patterns that are recognizable must be integratable through this logic
of derivation (to descend from a source). Which is the 3rd point.
What we do with this recognition of derivation is point number 4.
As outlined in part 1 of this overview, astrology provides a
psychological format that leads to a discernment of psychological
momentum and belief patterns that is essential to the above outlined
awareness. Once these belief momentums are recognized, what do we do
with this awareness? My suggestion is that as an extension of
all-that-is we are responsible for the creations in our reality
(conscious and unconscious) and that fate is simply unrecognized choice.
Release from hell is through conscious creative choice and awareness at
any given moment.
Many models and comparisons are used in my manuscript to illuminate to
those so willing, that an absence of evidence, is not evidence of
absence, but is basically reflective of the insecure state of man, his
unwillingness to "uncover" his psyche (from fear) and hence the
consequently difficult and arduous release from "hell."

Solar astrology: A clinical tool for personality assessment.
Source
American Federation of Astrologers Bulletin. Vol 41(7) 13-24, Jul
1979.
Abstract
Tested the usefulness of solar astrological concepts in social work,
with
emphasis placed on their utility in a clinical setting. It was
hypothesized
that differences exist between persons engaged in ongoing therapy and
those
not involved in counseling and their ability to recognize personality
traits
characteristic of their astrological birth sign. Ss selected from 2
population groups responded to a questionnaire and checklist designed
to
secure their birthdate and a rank ordering of 12 trait clusters for
"self-description" and "description of a significant other." Results
confirm
the hypothesis in that the "normal" population was more likely to
select
their appropriate astrological personality traits than the "special"
population. Differences in Ss' astrological level of functioning or
awareness
of their inner potentialities are discussed, whereby extraterrestrial
influences or astrological phenomena are suggested as delineators
between
healthy and unhealthy personality adjustment. (PsycINFO Database

Astrologers and psychics as therapists.
Source
American Journal of Psychotherapy. Vol 36(1) 56-66, Jan 1982.
Abstract
Suggests that astrologers and psychics play a role similar to that
played by
psychotherapists and that they serve clients who do not wish to
characterize
themselves as having psychological problems. This is documented by the
writings of astrologers and by transcripts of visits to astrologers
and
psychics by a client. Astrology is useful because it
provides concepts and terminology that describe people's life states
and
problems. It also provides a good medium for incorporating modern
psychological therapies. Both astrologers and psychics provided
examples of
advising, increasing the client's self-esteem, preparing the client to
face
trauma, and empathic dialog. (9 ref) (PsycINFO Database Copyright 1982

Abstract
H. S. Sullivan's (1953) argument that anxiety as a fundamental human

called
"security operations" is used in the present paper to examine the
meaning of
astrology in Sri Lanka. Astrology and the
doctrine of karma provide the relevant framework in which various
forms of
misfortune are understood and handled. An examination of cases reveals
that
astrology and the doctrine of karma enable a person of that

Your concern is warranted. The eclipse is forming a grand cross with
Mars, Saturn and Uranus. This is the beginning of major economic
difficulties for the U.S. and vigorous conflicts in the middle east,
especially Israel. The opposition of Mars/Saturn indicates extreme
tension about military action-whether or not to take it. And since this
eclipse falls in the U.S. 4th (the most widely accepted 4th) issues of
national security are great. Developmental aspects require fulfillment
and resolution. A grand cross reflects an ever spiraling contradiction
and conflict paradox difficult to resolve. If you have planets here you
will be required to use great insight into your psyche. If your beliefs
are negative (disintegrative) you will have work to do, if they are
positive (integrative)you will be required to help. Being in fixed signs
these issues are long standing and difficult to resolve. The President will
be under great pressure with reference to national security.

Sarcastic garbage snipped.

> Haven't I seen this somewhere before?

Whenever the abusers remove it from the servers I repost it. Don't like it?
Talk to them.
I'll leave or stay as I feel. And I don't discuss with you anyway because of
your disingenuousness.

Did you have something of value to discuss? Yet?

Thank you for your response. It seems that there is an inability to stay
focused on, or to deal with, the issues at hand. I am not really interested
nor inclined to attempt to resolve personal intonations implicate in these
responses. Astrology is the alt.group hierarchy topic for this group.

If my posts serve you use them-if they don't, don't.
I do not ask anyone to believe ANYTHING I say simply on the basis that I
said it.

One must take responsibility for their psychological reactions in
interactions with others that are not conducive to logical resolutions,
nurturing insight, or inspired conversation-and reframe them. I would really
rather discuss issues rather than personalities (which is fallacious) and
wish you the best in your pursuits. It is my sincere hope that you can rid
yourself of this negativity and pettyness. I have faith that you can,
regardless of how miserable you insist on being.

Although healthy competition is always a catalyst, I feel that this
component is out of control and is interfering in this case. I find it
unproductive and would rather not waste time in sarcasm and or blaming. Time
is very important to me and I enjoy personal development and spirited
conversation. I post on usenet with the intention of learning and/or sharing
what I know.
If in the future we can refrain from personal defenses and innuendo I would
be glad to resume with the issues at hand.
Thank you for understanding if I choose not to respond any further in any
other way than this until then.

On July 17, 1999 brings the first wave of economic destructurization.

I have posted many times about the nature of reality. Here we find again the
ideas I have proposed of the idea of reality being created not only
individually, but collectively as well. The horoscope defines our
definitions about reality and must be read against the backdrop of the
collectivity and their beliefs. This is a must. It therefore behooves each
astrologer to acquaint themselves with much that is offered in the way of
understanding different realities-here again I offer current academia in
reinforcement of the nature of reality. Hopefully the readers have learned
to discern that the reality that we once thought so fixed and impermeable is
rapidly being discerned as the flexible clay that it is. These posts are
offered in the spirit of the recognition that you have the power to create
the life you prefer. The horoscope helps us understand our definitions in a
more expanded way-what we do with this awareness is reflected in our
understanding of selves, our fellow man/woman and our actions-the conviction
of belief. Physicality always reflects symbolically the beliefs of its
creator-you (us). Astrology is just one way to read this writing on the 360
degree screen around us called reality.

"Despite the, belief by some that science provides a windowpane of clear
glass that gives an undistorted view of nature as it really is, there is a
growing awareness that the values and beliefs of the scientists' culture can
shape their own perceptions (Gergen, 1985; Gusfield, 1976; Sampson, 1977).
The values and beliefs of any culture are subsumed under a larger social
construction called an ideology. An ideology is a set of beliefs and values
held by the members of a social group, which explains its culture both to
itself and to other groups. These beliefs and values produce a psychological
reality that promotes a particular way of life within the culture (Giddens,
1981; Hogan & Emler, 1978; Mannheim, 1936). Put more simply, an ideology is
the theory that a social group has about itself. Thus, just as individuals
have a theory about themselves (self-concept) that guides their behavior, so
too does a society (ideology).
Although homogeneous societies have only one ideology, societies containing
diverse subcultures contain multiple ideologies. In Canada, for example,
there is the dominant culture of the English-speaking provinces, as well as
the subcultures of French-speaking Quebec and the Native American tribes.
Although the dominant ideology within a multicultural society will be that
of the most powerful social group (in Canada's case, it is that of the
English speaking culture), the other subcultures' views of reality will also
significantly influence social life within the society. In the United
States, social psychologist Joseph Baldwin (1986) has investigated how
African-American and European American ideologies differ. Yet despite the
influence that a subordinate group's view of reality may have on its
members, the dominant ideology of the society will ultimately impose the
greatest structure on social behavior.
Ideologies within any given society, especially the dominant ideology, will
help to provide a shape and a focus to people's perceptions of their world.
This ideology, which is internalized by individuals at a very young age,
becomes so much a part of their perspective on reality that people think of
the beliefs and values making up the ideology as natural, universal, and
unchanging. Immersed within this particular world view, it becomes difficult
for one to entertain an alternative perspective. Employing an analogy, if
you are a fish you probably do not realize you're wet. Wet is all you know.
There is no alternative state that you could possibly consider yourself to
be in. If a cat asked you what it's like to be wet all the time, you would
likely tell your fellow fish about this strange creature who asked you an
equally strange question. It would be the very rare fish indeed who could
comprehend what the cat was asking. Perhaps a flying fish who has briefly
experienced an alternative reality could entertain the dual realities of wet
and dry. Perhaps. But most likely a cat would have to teach the fish about
the dry world view." Social Psychology, Stephen L. Franzoi, Marquette
University, 1996.

"Collective unconscious mind=This will be to some degree representitive of
all that represents the mentality of the entire mass consciousness of your
planetary beingness, and can extend even into archetypal levels. It will be
the total sum of the electromagnetic matrix that gives birth to your
mentality in physical reality, which is the reflection of the projection of
consciousness into physicality." Bashar "The New Metaphysics" 1987 Light and
Sound Communications Inc.

If you are familiar with Astrology, you are probably aware of the
tremendous insight about yourself and others this complex subject affords
once mastered. A horoscope properly prepared for the time, date and place of
one's birth, can be the most useful tool of understanding when applied and
understood properly. It cannot be delineated through a newspaper sunsign
column or a 1-900 phone number!

Astrology is the study of the synchronistic interaction of the psyche and
it's reflection in the physical world. Inner and outer are one. The
horoscope allows us to see the factors in both realms to understand how we
are creating what we are creating.
When blended with other paradigms of the helping professions it becomes a
powerful tool of insight, and guide to remediation psychologically towards
the redefinition and reframing of psychic material on all levels.
Astrology combined with psychology assists us in taking responsibility for
the creation of our reality through the recognition and understanding of how
these projected versions of our psyche and experience have been created,
through our choices in belief and definition of the self.

The horoscope can be likened to a photograph of the solar system (geocentric
perspective of the heavens) at the time of your birth from the place of your
birth of the positions of the planets against the backdrop of Constellation
configurations, or division of the equinox (areas of space). It reflects a
web or matrix of vibrational frequency (explained as wave-forms in
holographic terms), which is then interpreted by the astrologer or
psychologist.

The Horoscope is a map of the mathematical relationship of the planets to
the earth and each other at the time of our birth. It reflects individuality
and identity, it does not cause it. The planets reflect the archetypal
references (existing as ideas) that are inherent in the Multiverse (many
layered universe) holographically. These archetypes were refined in
delineation by the noted psychologist, Carl Jung. These "ideas" are
reflected in all that we see around us because we are one with the universe
and are that reality. Physical reality is a projection-a version of
consciousness in material form.

Perhaps this is where superstitious and uninformed beliefs about astrology
being a mechanistic cause rather than a synchronistic reflection-comes from.

Here are a few of the unsubstantiated assumptions about astrology;

1) Astrology is a subject that one either "believes" in or not.

Astrology is not a religion or cult. Therefore faith is not required for it
to function. It is a subject that can be known and is operationally obvious
once it is learned. Hence the concept of believing in it is an effect of the
mis-perception of what it is. We cannot believe or not believe in something
that we know nothing about anyway. The sciences are belief systems it is
acknowledged (See Thomas Kuhn and "The Nature of Scientific Revolutions",
University Chicago Press, 1962).

2) Astrology must be an Art or a Science.

Astrology is an Art/Science. The scientific aspect is in the horoscope's
construction, calculation, and mathematical interrelationship measurements
between astronomical bodies against galactic backdrop (geometries). The art
aspect is in the intuited blending of astrological significators into
psychodynamic awareness and the communication of this awareness and
remediation to client. This part, like all crafts, must be mastered before
application can ensue. Physics is now demonstrating that the consciousness
of the observer is intimately connected with the creation of the observed
(Please review "The Self-Aware Universe" by Amit Goswami, 1993). Astrology
contains science-but science cannot contain astrology.

3) Astrology must be proven scientifically before we can accept it as valid.

Astrology and science are two different ways of investigating the universe.
The horoscope like art, requires sensibilities not found in science.
However, astrology does contain science found in science. But astrology is
more than science as described above and cannot limit its application to
such a focused and exclusive subject as science.
Science is an element of astrology. Since astrology is an Art/Science only
the scientific aspects can stand empiricism. The Art of interpretation may
be open to debate as to style or application, but validity is always based
on service to client or public-as is psychology, stock market forecasting,
weather forecasting or earthquake prediction, and none of these are totally
empirically working models. Service is the client's or the served's decision
and evaluation as to life quality enhancement.

4) Astrology influences human behavior.

This myth is the most difficult for everyone. We create our experiential
reality utterly and only as the end product of what we believe or have been
taught to believe is true. However, it must be stated emphatically that most
of these definitions are held in an unconscious state and must be
acknowledged or brought to awareness. The horoscope "causes" nothing. It is
a synchronistic reflection of other aspects of the self and definitions of
reality at any given moment. A vibrational frequency determination based on
the self's definitions. The illusion of external reality is just that, real
while you are focused and oriented to it-but an illusion none-the-less "All
That Is" or God is all that is, and we are all the different ways that "All
That Is" has of expressing itself within the creation that it is-eternally.
Philosophers and Religions have long known that the "kingdom of heaven is
within". This is NOT a new idea.

The value of astrology is in the ability, through this reflection, to
understand these beliefs and definitions that we may possess unconsciously
so that we can acknowledge and own them. Once we own them we can redefine
them. We cannot change something we do not own! Life is a configuration of
choices. Nothing in the universe has built in meaning, we give it meaning by
the definitions we hold at any given moment. We then attach this meaning to
things, and extract that meaning from the neutral props known as physical
reality. Astrology helps us understand WHAT meanings we may be attaching to
"things" and hence why we extract what we do.

A Positive meaning in-positive effect out, negative effect in-negative
effect out. This is a simple mechanistic psychological understanding.
Psychological mechanics- which the observer then observes, creates,
establishes theories of, propagates ideas of, collects data from, makes
hypothesis about, and otherwise chooses to make so!
Yes- we create en mass an agreed upon collectively established reality that
appears to be fixed. This is necessary, or we would all have no common
ground on which to relate and share the experience we call physicality.

But that in no sense means that we are bound 100% to it. Each of us created
the "hallway" of experiential choice at incarnation reflected through the
horoscope.
Our actions-unless consciously acknowledged from unconscious belief and
momentum-are just REactions to the prescription the oversoul (ourselves)
made as a choice of general thematic "hallway" experiences. The free will of
the physical self (the oversoul in its physical version) then chooses how it
will go down this "hallway" but go down this "hallway" we have already
willed. (please refer to Darryl Anka as Bashar and "The Hallway analogy",
1987).
Our creations have shown this, that even collective limitations are mass
imposed. We have gone to the moon and back. So we can redefine this
collective reality at any given moment as well. It is a preferential choice
based on awareness.

Astrology's best use, is for the enhancement of awareness, alleviation of
self imposed limitation, and the promotion of self actualization and
empowerment through self discovery and positive individuation.

For an individual or a business, the value of astrology is obviously in
providing the understanding of how we project our beliefs and definitions of
reality into reality. Nothing in the universe has built in meaning. We give
it meaning through our definition choices. Many opportunities are lost for
successful relationship, career and financial preference simply because we
know little about ourselves. Clear understanding of our own and others
psychological needs are the primary benefits of astrological consultation.
We can also project these definition issues by their momentum into the
future. Most of us lack nothing more than the willingness and boldness to be
anything we believe we can define ourselves to be and to look inwardly with
trust for these beliefs.

The ideas you claim to propose are actually the ideas of others. I

Oh yeah, there are different realities, the guy that lives behind the 7-
11 here has a different reality, but I don't think I want to acquaint
myself with his reality no matter how much it behooves me. The main
problem here however is that you force us to acquaint ourselves with
your reality whether it behooves us or not.

Where did I claim these ideas were mine? I am accurately quoting others

understanding. That is all I claim.
What do you claim to have offered?

No need to believe, you can know by reading. He helped explain it from

also connected many ideas in a more integrated way.

There are no inherently boring situations, only bored and negative
minds. YOU tell us of you, and nothing else. Perhaps a refresher course

****** ANSWERS ******

1) For what sort of discussions is alt.astrology intended?

Answer: Alt.astrology is intended as a forum for astrologers of
all levels of expertise, from beginners to advanced, to discuss
astrological topics.

Alt.astrology is *not* intended as a forum for disbelievers to
voice their contempt for astrologers or to harass astrologers
about their belief in astrology and demand of them scientific
proof. Groups discussing the scientific validity of theories are
prefixed with "sci." If you wish to discuss the validity of
astrology as a discipline (as opposed to the validity of specific
theoretical statements within the domain of astrology), the
appropriate group on which to post is sci.skeptic. Here is the
statement of purpose for that group:

"Sci.skeptic is for those who are skeptical about claims of
the paranormal to meet with those who believe in the paranormal.
In this way the paranormalists can expose their ideas to
scientific scrutiny, and if there is anything in these ideas
then the skeptics might learn something."

Sci.skeptic often contains long discussions of scientific
evidence for and against specific astrological hypotheses, and
such discussion is welcome in that group. Further, many members
of that group are qualified to evaluate scientific evidence. The
astrologers in this group who enjoy participating in such
discussion with skeptics read and post to sci.skeptic.

Venus-the planet whose symbol looks like a hand mirror, reflects our
needs and beliefs toward personal (Taurus) and social (Libra)
reflection. Because reality-(physical reality that is) is necessarily-by
definition-made of polarities, counterparts, reflections, shadows and
reflected "parts"that on the spiritual or non-physical levels are one,
we therefore create the idea of Venus as a way to understand this
polarity.

A way to reflect back to us the idea that we are the reality we have
chosen to play the game of existing outside of us, so we could look at
certain lines or specificity of idea manifestation or experiences. Hence
Venus is the symbol for the concept of mind in matter-or the mind/matter
mirror.

The "Mask of Eternity" a relief that stands just outside Bombay India is
the metaphor-a symbol of the effect of transcendent God manifesting in
the masculine and feminine polarized "versions" of itself. One face in
the center (the transcendent one) and a male face on one side and female
on the other looking out and AWAY from center, represent and reflect
what GOD LOOKS LIKE in physicality. The POLARIZED VERSION in matter.

Therefore, because we create this definition of separateness (Mars, the
first house and the idea of "birth" within time) from the
undifferentiated wholeness "All That Is," the planet Venus acts as the
reflective mirror for the parts of us that we are NOT focused on in this
life. We meet these other reflections of the self through relationships
(Libra) and through "things" (Taurus) that we may possess-these are our
other resources of the self. Hence Venus represents personal and social
reflections. It's reversed spin, like that of Uranus keys us into the
need to sometimes go against the "grain" accepted flow, to "shine
brightly."

If we believe ourselves incomplete, then our relationships will reflect
the idea of incompleteness. If we know we lack nothing, that we are
complete as we are-perhaps just focused differently for the moment-but
complete none-the-less, then we will see this manifested version of the
self.
The first division of self comes in the form of an apparent separation
from self and resource (Aries/Taurus) and full separation occurs at
Libra, where the self is encountered in apparently separate
"others"(which also is reflected in the "externalization"in the physical
manifestation of belief-of ANY aspect by opposition).

Are there really others? Of course, but our version of them is shown and
reflected through our beliefs and definitions about relationship that we
then PROJECT into these relationships. Much negativity has been thrown
at projection-:-) but it is the effect of being incarnate in the focus
of physicality and is not inherently "bad". It is just another way to
experience the self.

All the below are the BASIC energy motions (beliefs) that all
derivations of effect about these aspects come from.

Venus in developmental tension or conjunction with;

Mars=reflects beliefs of competition in relating to the reflection. The
need to compromise through the recognition that the reflection IS the
self. A strong belief in the separation of the masculine and feminine.

Moon=emotional security concerns that establish identity are believed
separate, hence social acceptance issues are highlighted. Insecurity
about popularity. Deprivation fears are tied to reflections.

Jupiter=exaggeration of personal popularity to gain access to broader
views through idea interaction, possibly from beliefs of scarcity in the
same area. Overdoing the reflective needs from the disbelief in finding
same. The need to have the beliefs and opinions recognized by others for
ego validation.

Saturn=the fears and giving of power to physicality are brought into
relationship needs. Strategy, material concerns and mistrust color
interactions with reflections. There is conservation from the fear of
"loss" which of course results in "loss" if the belief is not seen and
redefined.

Uranus=the need for explorations and waking up to the unconscious
knowledge regarding the self through reflections. There may be
temperament and impulsiveness in following reflections in this search.
Needs for the avant garde in relationship usually resulting from
repression of natural aggression. The need to recognize choice in
relationship.

Neptune=the unreal, camouflage spirituality are introduced into the
reflective needs. This is the sensitive and DISSOLVING of barriers
between the other and the self. There can be co-fusion (the positive
aspect of recognizing the self IN the other) or con-fusion (the negative
perception of identity LOSS from reflection interaction).

Pluto=Because of the need for emotional significance (from feelings of
"smallness") the needs for power because of the disbelief in enough of
it are brought into relationship. Power struggles, jealousy, envy and
"poker playing and bluffing" with emotional expressions can be the
negative effects of this disbelief in self power. Positively, the
individual can come to the recognition through this developmental
process that the self is reflected through others and that they serve in
that way to show the individual where they believe they lack emotional
significance and feel powerless.

For those so inclined and interested-first I have never nor would I ever
ask anyone to believe what I say simply because I say it, these are just
offerings to lead to ideas that you can choose or decide on if you
prefer. If they serve you, use them if they don't-don't. There is no
need for a "battle" over them. If you wish to discuss them-that is fine.

This, from my view is all about self empowerment-that is YOUR ability to
empower yourselves and create the reality YOU prefer and it is in that
sense that I offer these anyway. These are just sharings. To ALLOW you
to be aware of these things if you choose. It is, has been and will
always be of course UP TO YOU.

The planets Mercury and its higher octave Uranus, are but two versions
of the same idea of "mind" polarized simply through the effect of focus.
The planets out from the Sun DECREASE in ego focus but this in NO WAY,
SHAPE, OR FORM, makes them any less personalized as each one is
integrated within the whole of the chart and therefore BECOMES
personalized.

Light is STILL light, whether it is focused through one lens or another.

The personal unconscious and collective unconscious are linked through
them. There are just diferent levels of self compaction.
As the christ consciousness is the collective consciousness of the solar
system COMBINED- so when combined intellect and intuition are simply two
forms of the same thing-focused differently. They are a DIMENSION of
experience, a spectrum of mentality. There is really no need to have
conflict with them. This conflict is the effect of the polarization in
our society between belief on faith and belief in scientific facts.
Reason (scientific) is simply a higher degree of compaction of the
mental realm than the instincts (faith). Niether is really TRUER than
the other.

Each side fears what the other represents because they fear that they
will "lose" something. They fear it is an absolute opposite-that they
will lose their perspective. Animals are really just reacting by
instinct with a lesser degree of compaction than we-and hence less
reason. They have the same consiousness with less SELF compaction-self
definition. But greater degrees of compaction also creates greater
degrees of separation and resistance to trusting the instincts. You will
not LOSE a perspective by incorporating the opposite but will GAIN the
other. Intuitives fear that they will become lost in a quagmire of
details, and factually oriented fear become lost in a sea of
disassociated ideas. NO ONE IS 100% of either anyway.

All pain is resistance to growth and all pain is separation.

The point is to incorporate and balance these two ideas, when they are
integrated as the one idea that they really are, they can be used and
trusted when they are necessary automatically. If you want the life of a
certain person or type of reality, you must ACT like the life and the
person you prefer to have the life. We do this already-but we may
instictually ACT like the definition that we are REALLY holding and
therefore deny ourselves the life we prefer. It is reason that allows us
to analytically DISCERN and reason these understandings by its
compaction (yes analysis requires logic and a high degree of
compaction), and instinct that allows us to trust the definitions
understood and act like them when we do. They are both valid and both
necessary.

When these planets are in developmental tension the REASON for it is to
INCORPORATE, marry, blend and harmonize them into one-it is your cue
that you BELIEVE them to be separate, just becoming aware of this can
allow you to balance them out. This is why Mercury is exalted in the
sign of Aquarius. Intuition (Aquarius) and intellect (Mercury) makes the
most powerful blend for the mental life because they are one.

Intuition and intellect derive and arise therefore from the same center.
The integration of ALL is the path to 4th density and dimensional
experiences and lives. When this is achieved you can use them when and
where they are needed without conflict of the validity of two. Because
there is none.

The positive path is the integral path. The only "one truth" is that THE
truth is the composite of all truths. There is no "one truth" or one
reality. If there were only one truth there would only be one person,
place, thing. Look around you. All beings are all the ways that "All
That Is" has of expressing itself (these truths) within the creation
that it is. It is the disbelief in one's own power that creates
negativity, and the belief in the need to attack ideas that the negative
ego fears will invalidate identity.

Self-Empowered- Is the recognition that we have everything we need at
any given moment to be the fullest we can be. It embraces the idea that
we know we create our reality 100% by what we believe and/or have been
taught to believe to be "true." The empowered individual recognizes that
their reality is created from all levels of psychic material, i.e.,
unconscious, conscious, collective unconscious, superconscious, and that
although they may be at a loss in the present to understand how the
reality they have created fits, it still must fit, and that sooner or
later they will understand why they have createrd what they have
created. They understand that the physical world is the EFFECT of the
non-physical spiritual template archetypally, and that all springs from
the inner self which is connected firmly to "All Tha Is". This
archetypal template is reflected through the Zodiac and galactic and
planetary relationships.

Empowerment comes from within. Knowing we are as connected to the ALL as
we will ever be, we can trust that we lack nothing, we have all the
tools and all the abilities that we require at any given moment to be
anything we are willing and bold enough to believe we can define
ourselves to be. We are always in control 100% even when we use 90% to
create the illusion that we have only the other 10%. No one can make us
feel inferior, thwart our inspirations, or derail what we know to be
true for ourselves without our agreement and consent. The self-empowerd
being recognizes that the universe has no built-in meaning asnd this
view is the unbiased and discerning view. Taking responsibility (not
guilt) for our reality BECAUSE we know it is our creation, is the
self-empowered approach. Many confuse aknowledging one's creations with
believing we must be punished or shamed for them (guilt, the opposite of
love). This is from judging the creation and hence ourselves, not taking
responsibility for it.

Integrity= Functioning as an integrated whole self, without placing
power outside of the self, because nothing is truly outside of the self.
Integrity consists of the recognition that we are as powerful as we need
to be to create whatever we desire to create in our reality, without
having to hurt or MALIGN ourselves or anyone else in order to create it
(power-LESS behavior). We are always a part of the problem or of the
solution. Our position on the on this scale is therefore defined by our
actions. Action is the evidence of the convictions, intentions and
beliefs held. Intention can only be conveyed by the creator of the
intention. If it is true for them, then integrity will follow and only
the positive can result from integral intentions.

Because we create our reality utterly, we are not responsible FOR
anyone only responsible TO them by being as much as we can be in
integrity by following our bliss and excitement and discerning our OWN
intention. The All is vibration, and the vibration you are within this
all will BE the reality you experience EVERYWHERE-ALL THE TIME. No
matter WHAT OTHER reality may be in existence at any given moment. It
always works this way, and no-one is exempt.

Negative beliefs do not have any more power than positive. Ridicule is
negative and tells us of the perpetrator, not the ridiculed. These ideas
are choices, so they are not necessarily "unfortunate", for every being
creates their reality utterly as the product of what they believe or
have been taught to believe is true. The truth is composed of all truths
within any given system of reference containing its own reinforcing
logic.

Individuals can choose act in positive ways or in negative ways.

A) Positive is simply integrative, unifying, expansive,
inclusive-INTEGRAL.

B) Negative is separative, segregative, limited, conflicted functions in
PARTS.

But the positive individual, by the light by which they shine, will
simply show the negative individual(s) that they are;

A) Untouchable and unthwarted by anything that is not of a similar
vibration. And that;

B) They offer back to the negative individual(s) an offering of a
choice, a choice to also be positive. If the other(s) do not choose to
be positive then they can simply go their own way, for that which is
negative cannot exist within the blinding light of that which is
positive, it is simple mechanics-PHYSICS. Even if they are sitting next
to you. That is all. Even if the negativity is intentional, the positive
person will still extract a positive effect and RESOLVE developmental
tension to harness positive benefit.

Action is the manifested evidence of conviction and belief, because life
happens through you not to you.

No one can interpret a life or vibrational level at which they
themselves have not, or are not capable of functioning, because all is
vibration.

Here is the logical sequence of basic chart analysis I suggest and use;

1)Count the Elemental and Mode weighing based on a point system of 2
points for the luminaries and 1 point for all other MAJOR planets (no
asteroids or planetoids) and 1 for MC and ASC.
This establishes a fundamental belief system structure from which
further analysis can proceed.

2) Interpret the Sun/Moon BLEND (not individually) which will be the
driving force that permeates the entire chart overlaid upon the
elemental count.

3) Observe hemisphere emphasis of the planetary groupings
(west/east/north/south) to understand the basic belief in what angle
(Cardinal point) is believed to be sensitive requiring protection (i.e.
planets grouped in the west-7 or more incline to sensitivity and
influence from the opinions of others and the belief in EXTERNALIZED
reality affecting them).

4) Understand the ascendant and cuspal arrangement to understand HOW
this basic thrust of the identity has chosen to express itself.

5) Identify MAJOR planetary configurations (i.e. T-square, grand cross,
grand trine etc.) These structures will be WHERE the identity focuses
their beliefs about reality and externalizes them (negative aspects are
FAR more important in understanding this than positive-which support the
EXPRESSION of the negative).

6) Tie all houses and planets together to understand the chart
holistically by connecting all rulerships of houses and dispositor
dynamics to the fullest extent of your capabilities INTO the
developmental networks to understand how the developmental patterns are
tied to life issues and orientation.

7) Add the NUANCE of planetoids, asteroids, nodes, parts, minor aspects
etc. in your own particular way.

If this procedure is followed, there is little error in understanding
the thrust of the horoscope. It is a progressive compilation of
understandings all connected and progressively broadened that allows us
to understand. Of course it helps if you are competent in psychology as
well, as this allows an understanding of the WHY they may feel or
believe the way they do (connecting these things to early environmental
influence and schema formation from parental impact and nurture etc.)
NO predictions, projections, or any sort of comprehensive understandings
of the probability of unfoldment are POSSIBLE until this is firmly
established as an understanding in the astrologers mind. This
understanding I have termed the "law of momentum flow" Once these are
understood the "proof" of astrological unfoldment is easily seen and
more clearly projected.
I hope this helps and serves as a guideline of some sort, as sketchy as
it is.

When Saturn constricts our view from the limiting effects of fear, we
are broken. The breadth of vision that Uranus imparts when this
constriction and forgetting is healed, is the action and archetype of
Chiron. Integrity is the recognition of self empowerment, knowing that
we are creating our reality on all levels no matter what it "looks"
like. When it looks like things are "wrong" "falling apart" not going
the way they "should"-we are denying this breadth of vision that the
trusting and knowing self is creating for a REASON-it is a part of the
path we are -not an interruption in it when our "expectations" are not
being met.

But the negative ego is obsessed with every little detail-to consciously
"control" every little aspect of reality because IT believes IT is the
creator of ALL of the reality being experienced (Mars/Orion). But
dissolving this focus and allowing things to unfold as they are because
we KNOW they are there for us and not against us, is the whole idea of
self empowerment. This empowerment comes from the recognition of the
INTEGRAL reality of the oversoul. This expanded view is what allows us
access to the higher -or inner voice (Jupiter/Neptune). When the
conscious voice is silenced long enough to hear it.

We are now collectively experiencing- and have chosen-the idea of the
"conflict" between the spiritual reality and the material constricted
one of Saturn square Neptune. In Aquarius and Taurus, this reflects the
connection between our belief in our own worth and resources (Taurus)
and how we believe we can share these resources of the self with others.
Psychologically we know that giving compliments is difficult when the
self worth and beliefs in efficacy are wanton. Instead, the "others"
creative prowess and gift of giving is belittled and demeaned
(Aquarius). If you are INCLINED to Saturnine views, this one will seem
like the real one and hence you deceive yourself about the higher one.
If you are inclined to escapism (the negative reinforcing beliefs
associated with Neptune) and the disbelief that spirit and soul can be
found in the "physical world" then you deceive yourself again-for the
physical IS spirit in its material version. We have all the tools and
abilities we need at any given moment. THIS is the recognition of
abundance.

The healing or balance that occurs at Chiron-the TRANSITION- symbolized
by Chiron, is the awakening into this trust and RECOGNITION OF CHOICE in
the creation of our reality on some level and for some reason. All the
resources are there, nothing is out of line, and we can share and
compliment because we know we are as powerful as any other-with unique
resources of our own to share of our own-just as worth-y. Accepting that
events are there for OUR reasons, placed there by OUR resourcefulness
and higher self. This reason may NOT be testable, may NOT be readily
apparent, may NOT be the way we think it "should be" but it will
certainly be the way it needs to be or has to be because of the
momentums created thus far.

So, until this letting go of Saturnine views occurs through the healing
transition of perspective at Chiron, the awakening at Uranus must be
through the unexpected, the disruptive, and perhaps, like the lightning
bolt which is reflective of Uranian energy, be quite a "shock" and may
scorch those whose rigidity-unbending and unyielding through Saturnine
crystallization-is held in place by this fear and limitation of the
recognition of choice. Our trust is broken, therefore the lightning may
burn, rather than enlighten.

As always, this is simply an offering, a view, it is not intended as THE
truth-one truth, or in any way do I insist anyone believe it simply
because I say it. But I will be me-because the "All That Is" and I have
willed it to be so. I don't need any other reasons.
Thank you for allowing me to share this.

Since you brought up your chart...

I am one of those who believe that something like a grand cross in a
natal chart can be integrated and that the energies can be used
positively. But it is an initial challenge to the individual.

When are you going to stop attacking everyone in sight and work on

When are you going to integrate your Mars so that you can see that I

"Begging the question" occurs when an arguer uses some form of
phraseology that tends to conceal the questionably true character of a
key premise. If the reader or the listener is deceived into thinking
that a key premise is true, he or she will accept the argument as sound,
when in fact, it may not be." Hurley 1991, 4th edition, Logic.

Well, then, the FIRST wave of "economic destructurization" happened as

And your point is?

Anonym. It's been a while. Perhaps here at the Spiritual Circle, you
could read some of the threads going on and realize the kind-hearted
community that's established here. I'm not quite sure why you see a need
to chuck your verbal darts at ole Ed across five (?) newsgroups. A little
enlightenment? I mean, Ed rarely posts here and it seems the moment he
does, you're right behind him dropping abusive comments. Perhaps you
should let each person decide their own truth in relation to Mr. Wollman's
comments. Thank you for the warning, but I think I'm old enough to decide
what's right and what's bogus.

Peace and joy to you,

After reading the general consensus of the replies to your posts, I

don't think I've ever seen a positive response to one of your posts.

No, a silly twist on words. I don't feel threatened by you. Maybe a
little pissed off. The same way I get angry when I see an
irresponsible person littering or painting graffiti on the side of a
building. I am not insecure about my beliefs. I am well aware of what
I believe, you couldn't possible know what I believe. What you see
typed before you is an illusion. It's not me, it's not my beliefs.

Another trite twist of words. I have empathy, but then you don't know
that because you are so busy attacking. You don't know how much time
and energy I devote to my community, helping, healing etc. You know
very little, your ego interferes with sound perspective and judgment.
You see in my posts what you choose to believe and see in them. You
have no idea whatsoever of how compassionate I am. What I was saying
however is that I have my reality, a healthy balanced reality, I don't
want to see your reality or even try to understand your reality.
Effectiveness is based on results. Your presence on alt.astrology is a
nuisance.

Complete psychological mumbo jumbo. I find your posts boring, except
the really funny ones where you are threatening people, those I find
humorous because I wonder, "how can a psychology student go off the
deep end like this? Where is is poise, his demeanor, his education?"
Perhaps a refresher course is in order? You tell us of you, and
nothing else.

No, YOU hold YOU back because of your fears and Saturn reflects this
BELIEF to us. How does it serve you to symbolically prove my point by
answering in such an egositic and self-defensive way to TELL you about
you and that you have attracted ME to reflect this limitation back to
you?
And yet you still think "you" are going to teach ME something.

> But not today.

Oh I see, thats not what your answer reflects.

> So, when are you going to stop attacking so many people?

You are still begging the question. You see, your "nice" nonsense blinds
you to the truth. Which is that simply because others fear my ability to
use critical thinking to uncover their lack of it, is not an "attack",
but a service. Only dis-empowered persons such as you who use this
"nice" camouflage to hide their inability (or unwillingness) to know
themselves (by protecting themselves from critical analysis) to try to
pass off introspection and critical thinking as an "attack because YOU
believe in attack and place the power outside the self.(Mars opposition
Saturn in Leo/Aquarius-the creative interaction and exchange of
resources between co-creators).
You decieve yourself into thinking you and others need protection from
this truth and in that way reinforce your own "covering over" of your
own concsciousness and beliefs. If all of you had been paying attention
instead of spending all your time in defense, you would remember that I
explained the word "Hell" comes from the OE helan (to cover over or hide
from consciousness). Hence you all seek to continually cover over and
project onto me your unwillingness to wend your miserable state. But
since you fear awakening and DISCOVERY (Uranus and heaven) you
rationalize why you should remain in this state of hell and denial like
all the others who use sarcasm etc. to remain there as well.
I have faith that you all can cease this miserable state no matter how
socially accepted and covered over you believe you must remain to
protect your "weak and vulnerable self" from truth and dis-covery.

> Pam
> I'll just keep asking

Then in the state of hell and denial you remain.
"Now none of you are basically afraid of failure. You are not afraid
that your quest for truth will have no reward.
You are afraid of much more mundane things.
You are afraid of playing the fool.
You are afraid of letting go.
You are afraid of not being dignified.
You are afraid of not being pretty.
You are afraid of not being conventional.
You are afraid that someone will laugh.
All of this means that you do not trust the inner self-your own
identity.
That you have little faith in yourself. And until you have faith in
yourself, you can have no real faith in the Universe or in 'All That
Is.'"

What about the thousands of letters of support and the fact that my book

I

I have no control over spinics negativity or yours. The self-empowered
person knows that the only reality they can control is THEIRS and
extract what they need in a positive way from interaction, no matter how
negative persons like you insist on being.

Doubt is the true opposite of love, not hate. So how does it serve you
to so doubt your own reality that you cannot trust that I must be here
for your reason to serve in some way? Why would you doubt that the
creator knew what it was doing when it created me, or that you know what
you are doing in allowing me into your reality?

I think I clearly pointed out you consider this person less than others.
You lable it attacking in the hopes others will also react defensively
and project their fears on me as well. How does it serve you to tell you
of your beliefs to change critical thinking and observation into
"attacking"?

I doubt you can serve to heal the guy by the dumpster if you "don't

think I want to acquaint myself with his reality no matter how much it
behooves me."

How can you serve someone you judge in such a negative way? Why are you
so arrogant? Perhaps he is having doubts (the opposite of love) just
like you?
He is serving you more than you him it appears to me.

I assist my clients in understanding how their beliefs create the
reality they experience using the horoscopic mirror, and empower them to
change it if they are so willing.

> >if I had no empathy?

No, you seem to be uncritical in your thinking and cannot discern (to
distinguish or separate) the difference between empathic (understanding
and empathizing with anothers beliefs and reality) and being "nice" as a
defense against critical analysis you fear is "mean."
This is a projection on your part that all these spinics reinforce
because they are fearful and dis-empowered as well-attempting to use
humor to cover over their fears of inadequacy;
He can, however, be
sufficiently informed only when he has in large measure freed himself
from the levelling influence of collective opinions and thereby arrived
at a clear conception of his own individuality . . . "The collective
attitude hinders the recognition and evaluation of a psychology
different from the subject's, because the mind that is collectively
oriented is quite incapable of thinking and feeling in any other way
than by projection."

> > I have a balance of water

We don't USE it, it reflects my BALANCE of that quality and ability for
empathy, if I did not have it, the chart would not reflect it. You all
can learn much from me about how powerlessly and negative you use
astrology. You constantly assign things to it as if it AFFEVCTS or MAKES
you someway or that it is something separate from you that imparts
something -IT DOESN'T. It is YOU. It is a MIRROR OF YOU. It doesn't
"have water there that you access", it reflects YOUR ability TO access
water.
So yes, I have the ability (quite extreme with Jupiter/Uranus EXCATLY
conjunct in 12, the HOUSE of introspection and empathy).

Oh yes it is, I am quite empthically capable of percieving his
negativity. Empathy is perception-not "niceness" which is what you hide
behind so that you dont have to deal with truths you wish to deny.

Well, I did say that this is how you seem, not how you are.

I can't leap into your consciousness and gauge whether or not you
truly feel empathy for others. What I can tell you is that the words
you write here on Usenet often give the opposite impression.

All counsellors giving advice have retained supervision from a qualified psychotherapist.
Edward seems to think, for some reason, he is exempt from such internationally agreed

Pam,
why do you bother to respond to this jerk? It doesn't matter what he
thinks of you or anyone else... he is hopeless. I think the best
thing that we can do as a group is to just ignore him - but then again
that leaves him to harass and take advantage of newbies.
But it doesn't matter what he thinks...

A superiority complex manifests itself through a feeling of inferiority.
The more inferior you feel, the more you strive for superiority as a form of
overcompensation. At the low end of the continuum this is not a bad thing;
at the high end of the continuum it turns pathological like Ed and PZ appear
in their posts. Ed's just projecting. It is probably beyond Ed's
comprehension that a person can be sweet like you simply because it is
her/his nature. ;-)

Horoscopic mirror? You don't need a horoscopic mirror, at all, to empower
behavioral changes. You need introspection and cognitive behavioral
therapy.

Humor is used to release tension as well. Laughter, afterall, is the best
medicine. Even if it were to be used to reconcile fears of inadequacy, it is

The collective attitude dissolves, to a degree, personal boundaries. The
collective attitude can be utilized beneficially in areas where cooperation
is needed or interests intermingle. A mentally healthy person knows the
operational difference between personal boundaries and collective attitudes
and can vacillate between the two with ease. It's called functioning.

Empathy is the ability to vicariously experience another's pain as if it
were your own. Most times empathetic feeling is the impetus for kind or
altruistic behavior. So yes, empathy many times translates into "niceness".

Good point. The reality one creates isn't as important as the inaction with the

C.G. Jung

"The demand that he should see ONLY objectively is quite out of the
question, for it is IMPOSSIBLE. We must be satisfied if he does not see TOO
subjectively. That the subjective observation and interpretation accord with
the objective facts proves the truth of the interpretation only in so far as
the latter makes no pretense to be generally valid, but valid only for that
area of the object which is being considered. To this extent it is just the
beam in one's own eye that enables one to detect the mote in one's brother's
eye. The beam in one's own eye, as we have said, does not prove that one's
brother has no mote in his. But the impairment of one's own vision might
easily give rise to the general theory THAT ALL MOTES ARE BEAMS (my
emphasis).

"The recognition and taking to heart of the subjective determination of

only when the observer is sufficiently informed about the nature and scope
of his own personality. He can, however, be sufficiently informed only when
he has in large measure freed himself from the levelling influence of
collective opinions and thereby arrived at a clear conception of his own
individuality . . . "The collective attitude hinders the recognition and
evaluation of a psychology different from the subject's, because the mind
that is collectively oriented is quite incapable of thinking and feeling in

C. G. Jung, in a letter to Sigmund Freud.

"People always speak of man and his psychology as though there were nothing
"but" that psychology. In the same way one always talks of "reality" as
though it were the only one. Reality is simply what works in a human soul
and not what is assumed by certain people to work there, and about which
predjudiced generalizations are wont to be made. Even when this is done in a
scientific spirit, it should not be forgotten that science is not the SUMMA
of life, that it is actually only one of the psychological attitudes, only
one of the forms of human thought."

For those so inclined and interested. The universe (more appropriately
the Multiverse because of infinite dimensions as well) is the expression of
ideas. All things within the Multiverse are made of light-living light. This
light expresses itself in vibrational frequencies. All expression therefore
is like infinite radio stations, the one you have your dial set to is the
one you "receive". There is no one truth, and no one station. Whatever you
believe, reflects your vibrational frequency, hence your radio station. The
horoscope is a mirror of vibrational frequency. It does not cause anything,
it reflects the radio station that your dial is tuned to because its your
station! There are no "shoulds" that make up the "proper" station.
There are only three absolutes within this Multiverse;

1) that you exist along with "All That Is"
2) the all is one and the one is all (holographic)
3) what you create or put out is what you get back

The horoscope is likened to a mirror. It provides you an accurate
reflection so that if you don't prefer the way your hair looks for
example you can see this and change it (your vibrational frequency).
BUT THE MIRROR CAUSES NOTHING.
What we see is the reflection of ourselves through the mirror of mind
matter. It is not a case of mind over matter, because mind and matter are
the same thing manifesting in different ways. You create your reality 100%
even when you use 90% of that creativity to create the illusion that you
only have the other 10%. Remember however, that we have unconscious beliefs
as well, and the majority of our reality creation comes through unconscious
creation. Physical reality is an agreed upon "reality" created by the
collective.

The horoscope is a reflection of this unconscious and our individual place
within it.
So whether you are aware of it or not you do create your reality 100%,
and when you believe it you will see it, because it is believing is
seeing not the other way around. The horoscope provides a very fine
mirror of these beliefs-conscious and unconscious-to allow them to become
conscious, redefined, and recreated. YOU are still the point of power
through which this creation comes at any moment.

DOUBT IS A 100% TRUST IN A REALITY THAT YOU DON'T PREFER!

I did not see the message that prompted this.
Interesting.

Some small part is missing in this definition, I think.
Where am I?

I am that I Am.
I Am that I am.
I am that I Am and all that I am is light.
I Am that I am and all that I am is love.

Mass and Will and Time. All.

Objectification requires self.
Rationale requires purpose.
Purpose requires time.
Time resolves.

but light has no point but its reflection
and so I suggest :

I create the universe 'I' want.
We create the universe 'we' share.
The 'bounds' of my universe is set within ours.
The 'bounds' of our universe is set by all ours.
My universe reflects or is reflected in ours.
Our universe reflects or is reflected in mine.
My universe is different because I am.
Our universe is different because it is.
My circumstance is different because it is.
Our circumstances are different because they are.
I experience with senses and reason over time.
We experience through interaction over time.
I am bound by both, my body and my mind.
Both are real. Both manifest in time in our universe.

I will not pretend to have any clue about the purpose
of it all. I wish I knew for sure. I leave that to you and yours...

I think I Am after time. Time gone. Not I.
I have lots of good reasons.

I think that light needs shadow and shadow needs light.
I am not the same as you. You are not the same as me.
We are common in our aspirations and needs over time
( and probably beyond 'time' ), but not identical.
We govern our own universe, after all, and tolerate much
latitude in our concept of self as it changes.
I am. We are. Not the same.
Nor my children. Not since time began.

I wonder about the space, though.
Since I am my own universe, and so are you.
And my universe is as big as my imagination,
and so is yours.
If our imaginations overlap, what happens?
If there's space between them, what is that space?

One could believe that the mass of the planets
is inter-related to our experience, here. Its possible.
Anything, I suppose, is possible.
There are, indeed, many levels of consciousness
and I could not say what influences them all.

I don't think that its practice is meaningful, in most cases
and I am more inclined to believe that its impact is social
and not 'generally' scientific.
Likewise true that no significant merit comes from making
causal observations after the fact. In a room of a million
monkeys, one is writing a letter to Harry, or almost.

St. Germain was a Buddhist, alchemy was a hobby.

Sam I am. I do not like green eggs and ham.

Objectification requires will. There is the free will of the higher self and
the physical self, BOTH are aspects of the all.

Rationale requires intent.

Not necessarily. Time is an effect of focus.

Time is an illusion, real while you are in it and creating it, but an
illusion none the less.

> I create the universe 'I' want.

On all levels, many of which you are unaware.

> We create the universe 'we' share.

True.

> The 'bounds' of my universe is set within ours.

Nope, you can create whatever you desire at any given moment that you are
willing and bold enough to believe you can. The collective is only sharing
an agreed upon PARAMETER. Not a boundry.

> The 'bounds' of our universe is set by all ours.

Yes, but define who "all ours" is? Does this include all humanoid beings in
the multiverse?

> My universe reflects or is reflected in ours.

To some degree, but the vibration you are can only be the reality you
experience and vice versa.

> Our universe reflects or is reflected in mine.

Again, like Venn diagrams only SHARES relative parameters depending upon the
vibration you are.
You cannot experience anything that is not a part of you on some level.

> My universe is different because I am.

It is different because you CHOOSE it to be so.

> Our universe is different because it is.

Different than what? If it is the effect of the all what "other" all is
there to compare it to to see the difference?

> My circumstance is different because it is.

Its different because you define it to be so.

> Our circumstances are different because they are.

They are because we define ourselves differently and therefore experience
the corresponding reality.

> I experience with senses and reason over time.

Because you have so chosen to do so as a part of your incarnation. But you
do not HAVE to.

> We experience through interaction over time.

If we choose to, we also experience and intetract withOUT time. As in sleep.

> I am bound by both, my body and my mind.

Your mind IS your body in physical terms.

> Both are real. Both manifest in time in our universe.

All is real, you cannot imagine anything that is not.
Not all manifests in JUST this universe either, there are infinite
universes-hence multiverse.

> I will not pretend to have any clue about the purpose
> of it all. I wish I knew for sure. I leave that to you and yours...

The overall purpose is to be all you can be at any given moment. That is
what leads to the overall purpose in mass.

> I think I Am after time. Time gone. Not I.
> I have lots of good reasons.

You don't need any, other than you exist.

To differentiate, yes, but for no reason other than that.

To some degree, but we are all one.

> You are not the same as me.

Ditto again. We are all the ways that the all has of expressing itself.

> We are common in our aspirations and needs over time
> ( and probably beyond 'time' ), but not identical.

Thank God (All That Is). For the infinity of diversity.

> We govern our own universe, after all, and tolerate much

Tolerate is a contradictory term for those who allow all to be simply
because it is.

> latitude in our concept of self as it changes.
> I am. We are. Not the same.
> Nor my children. Not since time began.

Time begins when we focus into physicality, other than that it is
meaningless.
"Just as there is no such thing as color without an eye to discern it, so an
instant or an hour or a day is nothing without an event to mark it." Lincoln
Barnett, The Universe and Dr Einstein
TIME is not a THING that occurs, it is a way we have chosen to measure the
appearance of sequential events in physicality.

> I wonder about the space, though.

Same thing. Time and space are EQUATIONS, ASPECTS that manifest when we
constrict our focus to the illusion of maintaining "I am."

> Since I am my own universe, and so are you.
> And my universe is as big as my imagination,
> and so is yours.

True. It can't be any other way.

> If our imaginations overlap, what happens?

Venn diagrams. We share realities

> If there's space between them, what is that space?

Different realities. Distance, like time is an illusion.

> One could believe that the mass of the planets
> is inter-related to our experience, here. Its possible.
> Anything, I suppose, is possible.

It is if you believe what you said above about your reality being dependent
upon your imagination.

> There are, indeed, many levels of consciousness
> and I could not say what influences them all.

Not only do we create them, but we control them by doing so.

> I don't think that its practice is meaningful, in most cases
> and I am more inclined to believe that its impact is social
> and not 'generally' scientific.

Define "scientific."

> Likewise true that no significant merit comes from making
> causal observations after the fact.

Thats all scientists do. Nor are causal inferences very often made.
When can we say something "causes" something?
In order to make causal statements with regard to correlations one must
have;
1) Cause must precede effect.
2) Cause and effect must co-vary.
3) All other possible explanations between cause and effect must be ruled
out.
This is exceedingly difficult if not impossible since the all works together
and the whole organizes the parts.

You still beg the question. When you change your perspective, your VIEW of
things changes as well.

"Thus gradually philosophers and scientists arrived at the startling
conclusion that since every object is simply the sum of its qualities,
and since qualities exist only in the mind, the whole objective universe of
matter and energy, atoms and stars, does not exist except as a construction

senses of man."

Oh, true to some degree. I suppose however if I stop applying paint to the
canvas, the picture will not likely be painted. Action is the conviction of
belief. If someone like anonym has to force his spam on these groups, he
obviously has tremendous doubt about his own validity. If I were like him, I

Rubbish. The force charge on an electron was defined after the first
few minutes of the universe even existing. If the force charge on the
electron were different than it is, then atoms and molecules would be
unable to exist. Life would therefore not evolve. Reality was
imposed by the universe, we do not determine the force charge of an
electron. The force charge on an electron is fixed by physics.

No amount of reality "objectification" by you will ever change the
force charge of an electron, no create more stable elements than there
already are.

Science is not a belief system. What you practice is.
