Orbits are such interesting topics and were everything right and
stable,there would be no harm speculating on the geometry and variable
orbit speeds of planets and why the moon's behavior around the Earth
is different to that of the Earth around the Sun.
A photographer on the moon taking a picture of the Earth at the moment
when the moon's circuit brings it directly between the Earth and the
Sun,would notice with each monthly pass that the polar coordinates
will turn in a circle and at the Equinox will turn through the circle
of illumination and it is this motion,actually a quasi-rotation. when
allied with daily rotation that causes temperatures to fluctuate at
different latitudes at different orbital points.
I do not know what astronomers do each day as they go to their
research institutions and Universities but what I do see people with
talent who with just the slightest shift in perspective could render
observations into a more productive form for students and interested
adults.There is nothing stopping anyone from making this determination
I just made in this post and all the other ones that have yet to
emerge but it means setting aside the flawed and contrived notions we
inherited from other generations.
This is how I look at an eclipse from a different aspect of astronomy
based on the flow of information between planetary dynamics and
terrestrial effects,it also leaves room for placing imaging devices on
the moon or Mars.
