The University of Manchester and its Jodrell Bank Centre for
Astrophysics are offering an introductory course in radio astronomy in
a distance learning format. The course runs from Feb 8 to July 26,
2010 and will cost you about $600 unless you live in the EU in which
case you get a 30% discount. It is claimed that students will have a
chance to use the 76 meter Lovell Telescope remotely.

of radio astronomy. I've signed up. I know others here have
expressed a keen interest in learning as much as they could, hence
