Utah Site Going Back to 8000 BCE Uncovered
The Utah Department of Transportation has discovered one of the oldest sites in Utah while digging a belt route highway. The site dates back to 8000 BCE. They have uncovered Anasazi pit houses, arrowheads, and pottery dating back to 400 BCE. Several of the pit houses are from the Basket Maker III and early Pueblo I periods from 400-800 CE.
