New Find at Cahokia
An Italian team has been excavating at Cahokia. Last year, they found what they believed to be indications of public buildings west of Monks Mound. Their new excavation work this year proved them right. They found enough plaster and postholes to show that there was a western wall that closed a palisade compound.
