re punt boats , the real images and the artists impressions often get
used as evidence when researchers go looking for the land of punt ,
they are clearly very different in regards to fine detail added as
interpreted by several artists over time .
this seems possibly the first and possibly only copy made of a scene
in early 1850s by a french man , he claims the wall scene was
vandalized and destroyed shortly after he made his copy, and all his
original art work was all destroyed in a flood a few years later ,
his work is often quoted as being '' proof '' of certain facts when
IMHO , it is really an '' artists impression'' re created in the
artists mind , not from a scene he copied directly off the walls

several other similar line drawings exist , and try and reflect punt
boats , as seen or imagined by several artists , for inclusion in
books that are now used as evidence in the search for the land of punt
