DIRECTOR, DIVISION OF MARINE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS
Florida Institute of Technology is seeking a highly motivated
individual to serve as Director of the Division of Marine and
Environmental Systems, Effective Fall 1994. The division is
composed of faculty in the areas of oceanography, ocean
engineering and environmental science. In addition to
administration, the successful candidate will have teaching and
research responsibilities. Candidates must have earned Ph.D.
and have demonstrated meritorious scientific work with interests
in research and teaching in one of the fields of oceanography,
ocean engineering or environmental science. Individuals having a
strong background in physical oceanography are especially
encouraged to apply. Florida Institute of technology is located
on the Atlantic Coast in East Central Florida near Kennedy Space
Center in a rapidly growing, high technology area. The Division
of Marine and Environmental Systems offers B.S., M.S., Ph.D.
programs and maintains a balanced combination of research in the
basic and applied sciences. Qualified scientists should send
