men of honour and democracy?

should be a wake up call to all, because this shows the mindset of Africa and
their leaders and it tells it all. How can anybody be proud of planting
landmines on farm roads, planting bombs in restaurants, cold bloodily

necks of their own people?
The privileged few leaders are padding their bank accounts with taxpayer
money and looting the treasury. Their White and Indian collaborators help
them fake the statistics to fool the people that our bankrupt country has a
flourishing economy. Their policy is actually creating more jobless and a
total destruction of the economy. After destroying the economy, it will all
be blamed on the "legacy of apartheid" and this will afford them the
opportunity to ask the world to again fill their ever-present begging bowls.
This, is a sad reflection on a country that should be the richest country in
the world with it's vast natural resources of gold, diamonds, platinum,
manganese, iron ore and many other strategic minerals so necessary for the
world.
What is happening in South Africa today is a sad indictment against the
majority of the white liberal's. They trusted a treacherous NP government and
when the very same government sold them out to the Communist regime, they
accepted their fate with resigned complacency.
It is this experience that American Conservatives need to pay attention

Report: Massacre at Angolan Market

LUANDA, Angola (AP) -- UNITA rebels allegedly rounded up about 50 women and
children at a market, shot the women point-blank and threw the children into
a nearby river, state-run media reported Friday.
The alleged massacre occurred Tuesday at Sachitembo, a village 330 miles
southeast of the capital, Luanda, according to Angop news agency and the
state-owned daily Jornal de Noticias, which cited witnesses.
There was no independent verification of the report. UNITA officials,
believed to be based in the central highland town Bailundo, could not be
reached on their satellite telephone.
Fighting between the government army and UNITA rebels, which first began
after Angola's 1975 independence from Portugal, has made most of the
countryside inaccessible.
Since December, when a four-year-old peace pact unraveled, the rebels have
been pushing people out of villages at gunpoint, forcing them to seek
shelter in overcrowded cities.
UNITA -- a Portuguese acronym for the National Union for the Total
Independence of Angola -- said in the statement it now controlled 70 percent
of the interior, pinning government forces in the main cities and coastal
areas of the southwest African country.
UNITA said over the past five months rebel forces had shot down 11 Mig-23
aircraft, captured 21 tanks and 90 armored vehicles, and knocked out 159
military trucks.
Officials in Luanda were not immediately available for comment, but the
government previously has acknowledged that its forces are on the defensive
against the heavily armed rebels.

One of the tragedies of post apartheid South Africa is that too much is
being forgotten of the numerous atrocities that occurred during the vicious
era of the white supremacist regime.
African people should never forget history! It is in this connection that
the National Black United Front will commemorate the March 21, 1960
Sharpeville Massacre through public discussions and forums.
African Liberation Movement forces, around the world, commemorate the
Sharpeville Massacre. This will be the 39th anniversary of this tragic event
in South African history.
Just as the African American Community in this country demonstrated and
subjected themselves to arrest in the south during the 1950's and 1960's to
protest racist segregation laws, African people in the Sharpeville area of
South Africa, in 1960, began organizing to demonstrate against the white
supremacist Pass Laws System. The Pass Law System in South Africa is a
method the South African Government employs to "officially" check on the
whereabouts of Black People at all times. Black people had to carry a
document much like a passport that must be stamped, before they are allowed
any movement in the country.
On December 19, 1959, the Pan African Congress (a Black conference held at
Orlando, Johannesburg,) "resolved to embark upon a campaign directed against
the Pass Laws which subject the African people to humiliation of constant
arrest." The African American Community is familiar with police harassment
and brutality. The Pass Law System in South Africa gives the police
unlimited authority in arresting people at will. During the week of March
20, 1960, the Pan African Congress requested permission to hold a public
meeting on Sunday, the request was refused by South African Government
officials. The African Congress decided to launch the Pass Book Campaign on
March 21, by holding a rally and demonstration to protest these vicious
laws. Unable to hold a public meeting, members of the PAC called their
members to meet at the Sharpeville Tennis Court grounds. (Sharpeville is the
African location Vereeniging).
According to eyewitness accounts, at about 1:00 a.m., on March 21st, "a
great number of people had assembled at the tennis court where they were
addressed on the objects of the campaign and had explained to them the
decision to surrender peacefully to the police for arrest that day." Further
eyewitness accounts explain that, "at 1:30 a.m., a Riot Squad with two
security staff cars arrived at the scene of the meeting. Without endeavoring
to ask anybody what the gathering was about, the police started shooting
from their vehicles into the air to frighten and disperse the crowd."
Later that morning, "a great number of armed white police invaded the
location and while they were ostensibly patrolling the streets, intimidating
people with the obvious intentions of causing retaliation so that they might
be afforded an excuse to carry out their objective of smashing by brutal
force the opposition to the Pass Laws."
Leaders of the Pan African Congress continued their planned march to the
police station in accordance with their decision that they were going to
surrender themselves for arrest. Hundreds of people followed the leaders
singing the South African Black National Anthem.
After Mangaliso Robert Sobukwe, the first National President of PAC, and his
aides had been arrested, thousands of unarmed Africans gathered at the
police station in Sharpeville. The white police fired on the defenseless
men, women and children. Sixty Africans were killed on the spot and 178 were
wounded. More than 80 percent of those shot were shot in the back as they
fled. It is because of this incessant act of violence that we commemorate
the Sharpeville Massacre.

Actually I know the problem isn't immigrants mostly, but the big
coprorations sending so many jobs to overseas plants to save a buck.
Companies like Nike that use people reduced to almost slave levels making
their sneakers so they can pocket huge profits. Some people in my area
resent many of the Mexicans working at the local chicken plant. But, if the
Mexicans didn't work there it would have to move. The whites don't want to
work there. All the Latinos in my area are hard working folk. Thats all I
ask of any race. In this town most of the crime is done by blacks and
