They were farmers who populated Crete simultaneously with the population
of Europe. "Findings suggest that the Minoan civilisation arose from the

So they left the Caucasus at least 9000 years ago?

And probably a lot longer if they made any more 9000-year stopovers on the
way.

That's pretty remotely Caucasian.
