Ladies and Gentlemen,
Just wanted to remind everyone that Silvercreek Conservation Club will
be hosting their monthly IDPA match this Saturday morning. Hope you
all can come out and join us.
Registration opens at 9am with new shooters orientation beginning at
9:30 (new shooters, please show up by 9:15 to complete registration
and be in bay at 9:30 for orientation) and regular shooters
orientation at 10am. We begin shooting immediately after regular
shooter orientation. Cost is $18 for non-Silvercreek members and $15
for Silvercreek members.
Also, please note that you can shoot our IDPA match once without
needing to join IDPA. If this is your second time, application forms
will be on hand at registration. IDPA annual membership is $40 and
will be collected at registration.
If you are not familiar with the rules (or the new rules that just
came out), please review www.idpa.com. Don't forget to also look at
the gear requirements and limitations. Don't forget to bring a
concealment garment and at least 100 rounds of ammo.
Any willing hands that can show up early to help set up the stages
would be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to volunteer to be an SO, please contact me as soon
as possible. Remember SO's for the match shoot for free.
Let's have a great turn out. Weather is supposed to finally be
cooperating with us. I hope to see lots of smiling faces.
For those of you who will not be able to join us this month, however,
please remember that our October match will be a classifier. You will
need 90 rounds of ammo for that match, no more, no less. No
concealment garment required to shoot the classifier. You need to
shoot a classifier at least once a year for each division that you
shoot.
See you folks Saturday. I look forward to seeing your faces again.
I've missed you.
