Deployments for Windows Server roles

Hi, just wanted to query if deployments for Windows server roles are good from within the UI? (i.e Git etc).

For example, under the role config would we just use MS sytnax in the remote path as oppose to Linux?

i.e for Linux

/var/www

and, for Windows...

c:/windows/path_to_application (For MS Server)

Or would clients be better configuring manual Git FTP or Visual Studio deploy (to the EIP)...

Any advice appreciated.
