Is anybody still using Scala 2.8.x? We will support Scala 2.8.x
through Scalatra 2.0.x, but are considering dropping it moving
forward.

/me raises hand. But I can port my stuff to 2.9 pretty quickly (or as quickly as any external dependencies allow me to lol)

We are, but only because we have a few dependencies which haven't moved on.

Okay. Jenkins automates most of that job for us, so it's not a huge
investment on our end. There is some noise about 2.8.x being dropped
in some our dependencies. Those deps will get staler and staler, and
if our integrations begin to require 2.9-only features of those deps,
then we'll need to have a day of reckoning. For now, we can keep the
status quo.
