setup help needed with IntelliJ IDEA 11, etc.

I'd like to set up a copy of IntelliJ IDEA 11 to play with Scala
and Processing, as described in this blog post:

After downloading a copy of IDEA CE to Mac OS X Lion, I tried to
follow the post's instructions. However, what I saw on the screen
did not match the descriptions. I am a complete noob in IDEA and
Java, so I didn't know what to do at that point.

I'd like to find someone (either in the San Francisco Bay Area or
available via Skype) who could help me get things set up. I would
be happy to write up the results into a current, detailed guide.
