Guys,
Stumbled upon a need to support Any:
...
something : Map[String, Any]
...
I've modded Salat to support this, as well as Option[Any], List[Any], and
just Any type.
If the object you're assigning to the Any is a case class it will be
converted to json and include a type hint regardless of your type hint

New (Unofficial) Experimental Release: Nested List, Options, and Maps!

 Happy Sunday, guys,
For a couple years now I've enjoyed Salat's beautiful "invisible-ness".
It's just so good at what it does.
The one thing that's stuck in my craw (Texas-ism) was that it couldn't
handle nested Lists, Options, or Maps. So if I had a domain object like
the one below, I'd basically be out of luck.

Sure, but the reason gen-idea downloads no source or documentation for
salat_2.10 or salat_2.9.2 is that it is an aggregator pom for salat-core
and salat-util. This is an expected "error".

With the snapshot it downloaded everything, that resolve the 2.10 issue.

With the bitbucket project I forgot to push the downgraded build.sbt, now
it's the one with 2.9.2

I'm trying to avoid hand-coding gnarly model definitions. For example, say
I need to deserialize an object from a collection that I didn't create. Hi Eduardo,
Both the javadoc and source jars are clearly available on Sonatype, so I'm
not sure why your search doesn't show them:
[link]
[link]
