If you haven't seen it yet, this video at Intel is very informative. Martin Odersky is re-explaining what Scala is and is not, and dive into some of the 2.10 features. The questions are also interesting. I liked the one about the "renegades" behind ScalaZ ;)
It is mentionned in the video that Victor Klang made a speach about Akka in the same conference, but I haven't been able to find it. Have some of you a link?
